Yeah, I agree. That would have been nice. There are a few work arounds for the salary cap but I tend to ignore it.

These are all things we were hoping would be included in 2k12 but that isn't happening, sadly.

I noticed, that if you want teams to be under salary cap, you can create some of the most expensive players, ofc they don't look the same, but anyways...

Has anyone done a draft class in 2k10 or could point me in the direction of a good tutorial? I would probably just want to maybe do the top 10 players or something but it would be nice for a little more realism in franchise.

i was suppose to have the file sent to TS already, but busy week. my son was in a wedding, then had some prep appointments for his open heart surgery on Monday.

i will more than likely send him the file by Thursday or at the latest Friday with all the moves etc from this off season. then TS will work his ratings magic.

I would assume that Holtby and Lundqvist will get bumped up. Holtby was amazing during the playoffs.

99% of the moves from the page below have been made..

i think there is like 140 total or something, from retirements, signings, and trades.

the ones that i couldn't do bc of the player not being in the game, due to us being limited with creating guys from fake players etc have been noted on my end and i will send to TS via email.

im going to comb through the roster a bit, make sure teams are set to the 23 limit and that the minor league teams are set to just 12/13 forwards, 7 d-men, and 2 goalies.

then TS can do his ratings work as he always does.

when he feels comfortable with what he is doing, he will toss file back to me and i will go through and update guys numbers a bit.

again, TS will take a look at ratings during preseason, we then will look at cuts, trades, signings again and go from there to get our NHL 2K13 Roster ready for Opening Night.

i wanted to add, keep in mind the majority of the UFA's that have yet to sign still remain with their old club bc of roster size issues.

I mean honestly I'd love to get my hands on a roster that just has all of the latest offseason updates, regardless of how accurately the players are rated.

As a Rangers fan, I just want to make a dynasty with Rick Nash, but I'd feel like I'm being cheap if I didn't have all of the other NHL-based roster moves up-to-date, as well. I just spent the past hour and a half doing it on 2k10, loaded up a franchise only to find that the Devils, Flames, and Sharks were all over cap.

So I exited out to the main menu and demoted TJ Brodue, Jacob Josefson, and Colin White and saved over the roster.

Only to find, to my shock and frustration, that 2k10 had loaded a different roster and that I just saved over my entire hour and a half of work with some roster that was from 2010.

So yeah if you've already got a roster with all of the latest updates, or if anyone else does, I'd love to get my hands on it, because I'm kind of not in the best of moods to go back into 2k10 and waste another hour and a half of my life on rosters right now :P

Great Job by you, TS and anyone else that helped with this project. You have kept this game alive for me and it is greatly appreciated.
