You're probably right. I been listening to the sports talk station here and they had one of the owners of 2billsdrive.com on and he was talking about how everybody in Buffalo is pissed off and scared that the Bills will move to Toronto full time.

I gotta admit and I know i'm like a broken record right now but i'd stop cheering for the team (well not really but you know what I mean) if they moved to Toronto full time. It'd be horrible to just rip the heart of the people in Buffalo. That city has faced so much adversity in the last 5 or so years that losing the Bills would more or less be the death of the city as already you've got tons of people in the WNY/Buffalo area leaving as soon as they can.

Yep, if they moved I'd probably stop watching the NFL for a few years. I'd be upset but I doubt they'd stay in Toronto long before moving to LA or something

Also, Chad Johnson wants to get out of Cincinnati. We have draft picks that we may use on a wr. Send a 3rd and a 4th to Cincy for Ocho Cinco? I'd do it.

I dunno, would you want Ocho Cinco bullying Edwards to throw the ball to him if he's got a groove going on with another WR? It would be the Carson Palmer/Chad Johnson thing all over again. I don't want someone like CJ poisoning the locker room.

I'm having an internal debate myself about whether I would continue to root for the team if they moved. I mean, I do root for the team, not the players. And the team would no longer be there, so maybe it's best to bury my love for the team when they pack up and leave.

That'd be a disgrace though. An NFL without the Bills? Disgusting. They should never move these long standing NFL franchises. You're taking so much history and passion for these teams and throwing them away.

Re: Circle the Wagons...the 2008 Buffalo Bills Off-Season Thread

To be honest a few winning seasons with some playoff runs I think will quell any movement rumors. No one talks about Jacksonville or Carolina or Green Bay moving. They win. Hell, the Jags failed to sell out a home game last year where they were in the thick of the playoff chase and facing the Bills, which would be a pretty good chance of a victory.

So seeing that Boldin wants out of Arizona do you guys think he'd be a good fit for Buffalo?

Absolutely. I say they offer up their first rounder for him, then try to get back in at the tail end of the first round and draft Fred Davis from USC. That'd be my dream scenario. I mean...come on...who would you rather have? Anquan Bolden...or Malcom Kelly?

I'd say a 2nd rounder would be an ok pick. He isn't worth a 1st round pick

HIGH PRICES FOR BILLS TICKETS IN TORONTO

Posted by Michael David Smith on May 8, 2008, 1:18 p.m.
Following the report that the Buffalo Bills will make $78 million for playing eight games in

Toronto over the next five years, it should come as no surprise that tickets in Toronto will cost a lot more money than tickets in Buffalo.

The Buffalo News reports that sideline seats from the end zones to the 20-yard lines will cost $295 a game, and seats between the 20-yard lines will be more expensive than that, with exact prices to be revealed next week.

The average ticket price for Bills games at Toronto’s Rogers Centre will be well over $200, far higher than the average ticket price at Buffalo’s Ralph Wilson Stadium, which is $51.24, the News reports. Ralph Wilson Stadium seats about 20,000 more people than the Rogers Centre, but the bottom line is still significantly more ticket revenue in Toronto than the Bills can make in Buffalo.

Despite the prices, demand is high enough that tens of thousands of fans are expected to buy the full eight-game package for admission to every game in Toronto over the next five years. The eight-game package offers a discount, with $295 seats going for $270. Bills and Toronto Argonauts season-ticket holders have first dibs on tickets, with the remaining tickets going to randomly selected fans who registered online.

Starting with this year’s preseason, the Bills will play preseason games in Toronto every other year and regular-season games every year through 2012. Although it’s impossible to say what economic conditions will look like five years from now, it’s hard not to think that in the future, Toronto will host even more Bills games.
