...Well at least he realizes that Edwards hasn't played up to the level he had last year and the year before.

It isnt like Fitzy has showed anything either. The only reason the Bills beat the Jets and Panthers were due to 6 INTs and 3 INTs. He is just doing whatever he thinks will save his job.

Edwards should start when he is able.. If he is going to sitting on the bench either way then I think Hamdan should get a chance to start. [Reply]

What this team needs is a dude with a big *** arm that will sit in the pocket and get the ball to the playmakers.

Find the QB in the draft that has the biggest arm, and stick him in there from day one. Arm strength is important with the monster wind the stadium gets.

Also, a DE and an OL would be ideal coming out of the 2010 draft. [Reply]

If that's what you really want, my guess is you can have Russell for pretty cheap... or grab Kyle Boller from St. Louis. Seriously, if all you want is a big arm then I wouldn't waste an early draft pick on it. [Reply]

Ok... I at least want some upside with the big arm. A little touch and game management wouldn't hurt the team either! [Reply]

Does a Jake Locker have a big arm? He impresses me and works in a pro style offense. Seriously it doesn't matter who you have at QB when you got these jokers running the play selection. The Bills need a far more creative offensive minded coach. I mean running the ball 2 or 3 straight times and then punting is not my idea of offense. [Reply]

That and more would be great for long term, but I think you guys need a bit more than a QB. A Boller may be a good fill in for now while you spend the big money and high picks fixing other problems. [Reply]

WGRZ's Ed Kilgore was on the radio here this morning. He's of the belief that the Bills are going to let Edwards walk after this season thus staring ALLLL over again. He also hinted that the Bills may very well have to get a true football guy to run the front office as Russ Brandon isn't cutting it.

The organization is pretty much in neutral until the end of the year. [Reply]

We have the pieces on defense, we have the pieces on offense (could use more linemen, obviously). We need a great QB and we need a great coach / front office. [Reply]

Buffalo News says Edwards will be back in the lineup for the Titans game. [Reply]

I was hoping someone would answer my question :-)

Anyways I was listening to WGR (the Bills flagship station) the other morning. Now Buffalo sports radio (at least the hosts) aren't hyper critical and jaded like the Toronto media so it was very depressing to hear how they were talking. Basically saying things like the last 3 home games are definitely not going to be a sellout and how fans are going to stay away in droves if no major changes are done in the offseason. They then got on Ralph Wilson's case and deservedly so IMO by wondering why the heck he's up there making jokes and how he'll be alive when the Bills make it to another SB etc etc. One of the hosts made a great point that Ralph wants to win but it's not win at all costs, that Wilson is too old to go out there and clean house.

Basically the host compared Wilson to a guy in a fantasy football league who has his team and wants to win of course but won't lift a finger to actually do anything to make said team better.

In the end, the discussion came to the crux of the matter that Ralph Wilson will no longer be remembered as the guy who brought and kept a team in Buffalo all these years but rather as a fuddy duddy old guy who completely lost touch in the last decade of his ownership. [Reply]
