Ty Law signed up today.

I wonder if Jack Williams is in the doghouse despite playing good for the majority of the season as the nickelback

No team this year, he was with the Jets mid-season though last year

Contract info: Law signed a one-year, $800,000 deal with Denver that includes a $200,000 signing bonus. He could earn up to $400,000 in playtime and performance incentives.

He must have done something wrong, he was the player waived to make room.

I didn't think Jack Williams was having a horrible season either.. not great but not bad

Not bad enough to let him go and sign elsewhere, especially with two aging CB's IMO.

And what does releasing Williams say about Smith? Williams was playing in front of him for the most part.

I'll give Smith the benefit of the doubt for being a rookie this season with Williams having a little more experience. But not much of it.

I still dont like the decision to take him that high, losing a first round pick. All I kept hearing before the season by analysts was the interceptions he was going to bring. Hard to do that when you're not on the field at this point.

I have a bad feeling about this game. Entire day for me has been so off...

Gotta admit, I think the Steelers are going to take this game. It seems a lot of people underestimate teams coming out of a bye. I also think PIT's D is built kind of like the Ravens (with better pass rushers at that) and they've had 2 weeks with one watching a good blueprint. I'm hoping that rare air plays a role though. Playing at home does good things for the Broncos and Orton particularly. They'll have to take some shots to Marshall this game for sure. Moreno and Buckhalter won't be able to do much. Orton can make his next paycheck with this game. Come on Broncos!
