Anyone interested in playing in an online sim league? We play with 32 real owner, with Live Draft / FA / salary cap / etc. If you like to get your hands dirty with GM stuff and game planning this game is for you, "Front Office Football".

The game is a blast. I'm playing in my 3rd season in 2 leagues right now. One of my leagues is looking for new GM's. My other league is full. If you have any questions about the game or like to try it out let me know.

If you love HC09 but hate the on field gameplay, then you'll love this game.

The problem with HC09 online is that it's a "SIM" game. You don't actually see the players play like in coaches mode. That is why i play "Front Office Football" online against 31 real humans. It's 10,000 times better and deeper than HC09. FOF is also a "SIM" game, but it by far beats out HC09 as a "SIM" game. It also plays with real NFL teams and players.

If HC showed the players playing in online mode i wouldn't mind than.

Just so nobody is mislead, you don't "see" the players play in Front Office Football either. If Jim added a basic visual representation of Xs and Os like I used to love watching on the old Tandy football, I'd probably never put FOF away. Even though the sim/stat engine of HC isn't as good as FOF's, I still haven't played a single down of FOF since release day of HC09...and I'm still investing more time than I probably should in HC. I'd say HC takes up about 80% of my game time budget...the other 20% goes towards helping the wife and kids run dungeons in WoW.

I'd love to see a version of FOF with a basic graphical aspect to it. It's a solid football sim, but for me, it lacks the immersive (addictive? Hehe) experience HC provides.

Just my 2 coppers...

The game is much better when you play in an online league. Playing SP gets boring. But playing against 31 real humans with real live drafts and FA, trades makes the game soo much fun.

The key to playing FOF is playing in an online league.

I like HC09, but the on feild issues drive me crazy, along with ratings not really meaning anything for ol/dl.
