Guys, tell me what you think about this slider set. Yes, i have a set posted in the slider forum, but i was playing around with these the other day and i like to see what you guys think. It works better in your 2nd season on.

Re: Try this slider set.

curious to know how you came to attempt such extreme settings with all the 0's? care to divulge?

i use your most recent updated sliders (previous to these) and i'm having very realistic games for the most part. My passing stats aren't too good but i'm using jamarcus russell with field general which may have a lot to do with it...defense and rushing game seems to be on point, i'm about 10 games in including preseason..

I like my slider set that is posted in the slider forum also, but the HB from time to time would take these wierd cuts. So i decided to try a combination of sliders i us to use. I figured this engine which is based on madden has more effect on QB/HB. So i set the QB 35. You can set him also at 30. As for the HB, i wanted to stop that crazy 90 degree turn they do, or at least min the affect.

The defense is overpowering so i set them to "0".

Don't let the "0" fool you. Last nights game my QB threw 2 int's and my opponent threw 3.

I like to know from you guys, how you like the game play, especially the running game.

I like this game alot, even though it has its tweaks. I'm just trying to make the game play more enjoyable, and have a lasting replay value. If i can pass this on to make it more enjoyable for you, then thats great.

Re: Try this slider set.

I don't have stats, sorry, but I tried these and they seem to give good results statwise (is that a word?) but both RBs (Seattle, GB) did those grazy turns and QBs were also throwing lasers occasionally. However, there were also normal looking runs and plenty of drops etc. I'll say there was something extra if you compare to default set.

Game I played was a second season playoff game from one of my saves. With your old slider settings happenings on the field seem to be more controlled which I like.

I also played an another game with similar output.

Edit: You're right that defenses were not so powerful anymore. There were more missed tackles and uncontrolled things and maybe that is the reason I didn't like those turns for example because it made my LB eat dirt. After giving it more though, these settings are definitely worth developing.

B3Organ:

Thanks for your input. As you notice with my old sliders, i had QB at 30/30. I did this because it hinder the QB from throwing off his back foot. My next game i'll put it at 30/30.

If you notice with these sliders the HB twist more to break tackles. Also the DB stick their hands out more to deflect the ball.

I like my other sliders a lot. There was just something that bothered me. Either slider set is fine to play with.

Enjoy.

Re: Try this slider set.

Nope. 35/35 for QB is the way to go. 30/30 doesn't work with these sliders. 35/35 does.
