Rant Vent Whine Whatever

why josh and chris and dan.. why are the patriots so near perferct? how can they be the only team it seems that everything goes their way.. they lose some key players yet they still play like athletic gods.. LB's shoot the gaps faster than the ball is snapped to tackle the RB for a huge loss. cb's can shed blocks and get to the qb and ball carrier.

offensively their line can open up the holes for rb's or the wide outs always seem to make the catch.. brady can sit comfortably in the pocket for hours on end. opposing defenses lb's will just sit and stair as a fullback or half back slips to the outside and is open for a dump off pass.. all this seems to happen in the games i have played against them.. there is no weak spot on that team. yet in real life they have 1 perfect regular season and still they get the atonement of football godship? makes no sense to me at all.

do they have a good football team yes. are they one of the powerhouse teams yes but are they that good all the time? sooner or later they are going to come crumbling down the top

ok done ranting or venting or whining or whatever..

I've beat them in year 1 with the Jets, play a lot of nickle, dime and quarter packages because they rarely run the ball.

Beat them last night with the Chiefs in my first season. If i thought they were gonan run, I played Cover 1, otherwise, I played a lot of Cover 2 and Blizted.

They only scored 6 points on me

The Giants showed everyone how to beat them. Blitz, Blitz, Blitz and everyone once in a while to keep the offense off guard you might want to Blitz..

In the context of our game, they are near perfect. Almost every one of their players has every play mastered, they have coaches that give them tremendous boosts and they are talented.

The Colts are very close to being as good as they are. Great coaches, mastered playbook and talent. That's how you dominate.

I never have problems with the Pats. The Colts and the Bucs give me problems, and occasionally the Giants.

Re: Rant Vent Whine Whatever

I just finished a year where I beat the patriots three times. Not sure why as I didn't think my team was that good, but apparently they were as I went 13-3 and lost in the afc championship game to a stellar Colts team by 3.

for me the bucs and eagles are pretty imposible to beat. i can move the ball easily on them, but can never stop them on 3rd down. i actually beat the pats with the dolphins, there not that hard

Re: Rant Vent Whine Whatever

in my chise this is what i wrote bout my game against the pats

Reg Season Week 5
Patriots 3-0 vs 49ers 1-3

..you know, I wonder how many rl teams are already beaten before even stepping on the field against the Patriots because of their "aura".

Leading up to this week.. I was a mess wondering how the hell was I going to stop them. Literally.. all I could think of was how? how?? ...I was already beat before even taking the field!

I remembered my last game against Reggie Bush and the Saints and even though I beefed up my DLine a bit.. it wasn't enough. so coming into this game against the undefeated Patriots.. I made even more roster moves.

Switched OLB J. Smith to a LE position which switched is OVR to 90
switched LOLB Manny Lawson to a ROLB spot to fill in where Justin left off..

hoping that these moves beef up my defense a bit more for the coming onslaught!

Game Result
Linden Hill, Aug 24, 2008

Post Game Thoughts:
-it was close.. very close it was only 13-3 at halftime and the Patriots' only touchdown came after a blown play was returned for an INT TD.. the 2nd half is the problem, specially the 4th qtr

-Frank Gore broke his 150+ yd rush production in 3 consecutive games.. but that's to be expected against this Patriots defense I guess

-entering the 4th qtr, it was 13-10 .. but my team simply imploded.. maybe it's the youth showing and lack of experience or maybe it's just me not preparing them enough but 3 turnovers and couldn't stop anyone lead to a blowout score after running with the Patriots for 3 qtrs

they are crazy good.. and yes i love the realism that we actually feel nervous even before playing them.. lol how's that for REALISM

lol, the pats are 4-9 and the colts are 13-0 in my first career season. I'm winning the Div at 9-4 (oh, Bills I be)
