Bill Abner's first Head Coach Impressions

Josh I know I'm new here, but alot of us are VERY impressed with how you have responded to the community with different issues, concerns and other things.

A couple questions I have are, I'm assuming you guys are having a patch go through tomorrow (12th) with HC09, and will there be a roster update as well? Favre to Jets, Jason Taylor to Skins, etc?

Also when you say you are working on things, since the game has already shipped out with the CE...will we get these fixes in a patch coming on the 12th or at a later date?

There is no patch coming out tomorrow. Josh is hoping to have a roster update available for download on the 12th.

I wouldn't think there will be a patch unless the injury bug turns out to be a real bug that needs fixing. There has been no commitment to make a patch to fix the other "design" issues that people don't like. None of them are game killers IMO, although it would be nice if they could be patched.

Oh, what I was referring to was things that Josh would reply back to Bill and say "Fixed..", and other things. But I figured that it was too late to fix those small issues and have the game shipped out already. It was my understanding that ALOT of the Gamestop stores received the CE's Thursday and Friday of last week.

Nothing has been fixed yet. One of the issues was a misunderstanding.

I'll keep you guys up to date with patch news and info.

I played the first preseason game (this is when the injury happened), then supersimmed the next one, then simmed the last two. I played the first two regular season games and super-simmed the 3rd.

I haven't had an injury happen AT ALL since the first preseason game(despite having a bunch in that game), so it just seems like all injury-related stuff froze out?

i didn´t experience any injury as well on the entire preseason :/

On the potential injury bug thing:

It's beginning to sound like it may be related to when you are playing games but to be on the safe side when the dev team does the roster update tomorrow wonder if it would help to go through the trainers ratings and make the lowest ones a 20? (Trainers ratings could be hard coded so a simple update may not work. Just an idea.)

Yep. Not to disrespect the Madden team, but my desire to play Madden post review is absolutely nil. I am finishing up my Browns franchise season in Madden and I already know how bizarro the franchise logic is in that game and it's very hard to press on. If not for the review, I would have shelved it by now. On the flip side, I'll be playing Head Coach...a lot. I think it's the best thing to happen to sports videogames in a long, long time.
