In addition to this, players will have recurring injuries to the same body part. For example, Kurt Warner will continue to be mushy-headed, and will continue to get concussions. The maximum health for his head is quite low, so injuries will occur to that body part more frequently. Josh also suggested that workload in college will come into play.

He knew what it was...he was quoting himself trying to get an answer, since nobody responded the first time

Unfortunately there is no way to do this. I agree this is tough to manage during a live trade negotiation.

What I always do is put the sim speed on "slowest" and check out the Trade Player screen for that team before entering negotiations. All of the contract information and player grades are listed there.

Then you can decide in advance who you'd be willing to trade for/away.

If you really like the guy they're offering, you can also take the opportunity to put some more of your own players on the trade block before entering negotiations.

That is a perfectly acceptable workaround, Dan. Thanks.

I really do want to say publicly how much I appreciate all of the HC guys taking the time to chat with us. It's been a great, great help in both understanding more about how the game works and verifying other bits as well. I really do appreciate it.

Agreed. It almost doesn't seem real that the folks that made the game spend as much time as they do interacting with the community, especially when there's such excitement for the game. I could see it in a game that's getting negative hype leading up to release (no names mentioned) but with the almost univeral positive buzz, it's awesome that the devs are here.

Biggest issue I have heard so far, that should be patched. It is the same way in NHL 08 when claiming waivers. Pretty weak.

Re: Bill Abner's first Head Coach Impressions

Bill, thank you for your updates on the game.

Josh, thanks for putting together a game that us hardcore football fans were waiting for. I wanted a game deep like "Front Office Football", but with the graphics added, and you guys have done that.

Most of us on here are in their 30's so we don't need to smash buttons, but use our heads. Plus we want it to be as realistic as possible.

One question:

1. I know you guys don't have this in this game, but can you allow the LB and the QB call audibles instead of us. Also the o-line and d-line make shift adjustments on their own. I rather call the plays and let my high "AWR" players call audibles if need be.

(This could be a nice addition on the next HC. So you want to make sure your LB and QB has a high AWR to make proper adjustments.)

Or you could pick a Defensive Captain to call audibles, then you could choose someone who has high AWR and a good OVR...

If this is put in, there better be some awesome AI on this. The first time I call a deep pass with thirty seconds to win and my qb audibles to a fullback dive, I will have an absolute conniption fit.
