Geez, September???

Well i'm gonna get the bundle.

I'll either roll with the G-Men, or return the Raiders to excellence.

Did the Lions draft a WR in the first round? If they didn't the game AI is broke and not worth my time.

As I posted in the comments of the blog, Bill, the Giants did draft a QB: Andre Woodson.

Great stuff, awesome. It is bordering on ridiculous. I'm at work I think about it, I lay down to sleep and close my eyes and smile when I think of the potential for HC. It hasn't felt this much like Christmas in many years...sigh.

(the 4th is about as early as I'd want another one) A 2nd is a bit too high for my taste for a guy that won't see the field much. I guess everyone has different philosophies but I want my 2nd round pick to play -- a lot.

Of course again, I need to check the Dallas roster. Wasn't Barber a RFA?
As a Cowboys fan I sat their on Sunday April 26/27 watching the draft. Scratching my head at why they selected another RB in the 4th rd, when they selected Jones in the first.

Ring up trading TE, Fasano before the draft then selecting another TE in the 2nd rd.

Barber was a RFA! I don't know how the CPU handled his situation.

That goes for the entire FA/Draft situation.

I don't expect the A.I. to be perfect. Yet thinking about, logic in F.A. and the draft is thrown out the window in real life.

Same here, I feel exactly the same. My wife is even excited for me. I even imagine the press asking me questions like "Coach how do you react to fans, who say we are doomed with a coach who has no experience?"

I really feel like the product will equal the anticipation!

Funny how NFL Head Coach 09 is sounding promising (3 year development) while Madden and NCAA are both dreck (6 month dev turnaround).

Fancy that.
I wish we had three years of development. We had nowhere near that much time.

Lions Draft:

R2 Dizon - OLB
R3 Thomas - CB
R3 Harrison DT
R5 Lichtensteiger - C
R7 McClain DE

No Wide outs. Yep, this game is broken.
