Will Michael Vick be imprisoned in this game and able to come back at a certain time or not in it at all? And is there prospects that come out like a MV or even faster?!?

I doubt that we will see Michael Vick in the game. Though they didn't shoot down my question regarding Favre un-retiring, so who knows? I would be suprised if there wasn't a Vick-type (minus the felonious behavior) in HC. The designers have said that they designed every player by hand. There's no random generator -- just 21,000 recruits that were individually created for the game. Throw in the fact that the wishbone is available in HC, and I would bet that there will be QB's with crazy speed available at some point.

Re: Lead Designer Q&A Session

Will the CPU controlled teams also have a 75 man preseason roster? The reason I as is if each team has to cut 22 players to get to the 53 man roster that's over 700 players being cut. If the draft class is in the 300's, where do the rest of the players come from? Also, if the CPU teams don't go to 75, is that why there aren't waivers?

Thanks! I'm excited about this game, it sounds like you guy nailed it.

the numbers wont be a problem. They said they have 22,000 Rookies I think, and over 15 years if every rookie is used that is 1466 a year. 704 being cut is a blimp on the radar and rookies from previous years will also try making the roster. hope that helps/makes sense.

From what I've read, there's 350 rookies per year, not 1466. There were like 21,000 rookies for the entire game spread over 60 classes. Basically, there's 4 groups of 15 classes each. That's an interesting point that pluto brought up regarding CPU preseason cuts. I know that the creators suggested that there will be players invited to each camp that weren't available in the draft, so that's a possible source of players. Josh also mentioned players from other leagues (Canada, Arena, etc) that may jump on a squad, but that's supposed to be quite rare. I would think that the draft, the post draft free agent bidding, the "non-roster invitees" (baseball style, I suppose) and the other league entrants will make up all the camps. I can't imagine they went into as much detail as they did and didn't make enough players. I'm assuming the four sources I listed will cover all the teams.

that math makes a lot more sense. 1466/4= 366 so that 350 number sounds right. Thats good there are 60 draft classes, because that makes the replayability aspect there for multiple go-throughs.

No, unfortunately we were not able to schedule in-game saves this year. The supersim option is decent alternative for people who need to finish the game in a pinch.

200 offensive and 200 defensive, but to 100% verify, check with our Lead Gameplay Programmer Chris Staymates in his thread.
