Madden's Franichise playoff games just felt and sounded like just a regular season game.

Any Newspaper stuff to see fan reaction on everything?

Any Super Bowl celebration? Trophy Presentation, Super Bowl MVP award, etc. etc.

1. We tried to get them as loud as we could.

2. I wish but they are essentially the same.

3. Adam Schefter replaces the newspaper as the way we deliver news.

4. Sorry, man. We just didn't have time. That will be priority #1 in the future.

Your company better thank you because you just sold them another copy of HC 09.

Thanks.

Actually, it's completely different and pretty cool.

All rookies are available and every team starts bidding on them in one screen. Each player has his own timer and you have to jump from player to player to bump up the bid as other teams do, too.

Here's an unofficial screenshot (not in HD).

Re: Lead Designer Q&A Session

RE. the new regular season blog - really like the bit about Adam Schefter coming on and talking about the weekly preparation for the game and which team he believes is best prepared.

Sounds like the week to week stuff won't be a chore at all and is actually meaningful for the game on the Sunday.

With respect to the emotional reactions - which ever way you choose to go is going to 'upset' someone - right? So does that mean that when building your team it's important to get players with a similar personality trait to your own? Whichever way you go how much of an impact does it have on the players that don't appreciate it? The way I see that, as I've said before, means you really can't win in this respect - you're going to upset somebody? Or am I way off here?

Great stuff Josh...is it only June 9th......doh!

Yes, that's exactly how you should approach it. The approval changes are small but they do add up.

Thanks for the answer Josh. Could they be under a fake name?

Cool stuff...I really hope this game sells well, it deserves to based upon what we've seen so far. From the limited videos I've seen I'm really impressed with the NFL network interaction with Adam Schefter - looks and sounds really good...

Josh - the screenshot - the picture - I take it that is the player and the picture creation bit you were talking about last week for created players?

Cheers

Yes, that is a fake owner using that system.

When you select a new coach, you are given the opportunity to spend a number of skill points on whatever skills are currently available so you can tailor your new coach from the start.

There are 60 class's (I did the math, this is what I got if you divide 21,000 by 350). Every time a class comes up they will have different names, with the exception of 1% of the class (who, I assume, are superstars of some sort).

So I'm not going to go read joe schmoes dynasty and see the same draft class in my dynasty. Obviously theres random chance I could draw the same "class" but they won't have the same names and there won't be any way to tell that they are the same players without trying to find it.

As in the play creator allowing you to have a play that no matter what the CPU defense does, it can't shut it down.
The CPU tries to figure out your play calling tendancies using the same kind of information presented to the user in the play call screen. If you continually run your created play, the CPU should eventually pick up on it.
