Players already scouted?

I'm in week 1 of my dynasty. I've played the week 1 game, and am now loading my recruiting board. I'm noticing players on my board that have already been scouted.

What is this that's going on?

Make sure you have CPU assists turned off. If you had unused scouting time before advancing to the regular season, the CPU will automatically use it all up and scout for you.

You have 20 hours to scout in the preseason. If you don't use it the CPU will use it for you.

I remember reading that at one time. The thing that was puzzling to me was i didn't add anyone to my recruiting board until after the preseason.

That is odd.

Just a bit of advice.. I believe that you get points just for having players on your board from week to week so going forward I would advise you to add them in the preseason. Well, unless your intentionally trying to make things a little more difficult.

Thanks for the tip. I'll be sure to look out for that moving forward. I thought they were just already scouted a bit since I play with recruiting difficulty a bit lower.

I've done a couple of dynasties now, and in each one I turned of all of the assists in the preseason, and it still added recruits to my board when I advanced to the regular season. I think the assists reset once you advance into the regular season, for some reason

intresting, ill try adding one recruit and see what it does. im trying to find ways to make recruting harder somehow. YOu dont even have to recruit anyone for the first 4 or 5 weeks and the just sort by top 10. add whoever only has one school left and you want. you will get 50% of these players. even with texas st as a 1 star im landing 3 and 4 stars left and right. was the same last year but now it seems more guys or still in their top 10 later in year.
