I thought in OD as commish we could edit any player at any time?

We've noticed a lot of injuries in our dynasty so I was going to up the injury ratings for our skill players in our online dynasty, I am the commish. However it seems to only allow me to adjust my own players right now. We are halfway through the week so one coach suggested maybe I could only edit at the fresh start of the week. Is this the case?

As commish shouldn't I be able to edit any player on any team in my online dynasty? Yes I did start the dynasty with the patch btw.

Nope. You can't edit any team other than your own at any point. I tried it out at the beginning of our OD to test it.

It amazes me that more people haven't brought this up. I ran into this issue before the weekend and just sat there laughing to myself because the release day patch was supposed to give us this feature.

I remember the thread about "Big 1st day patch news" & this is it? A feature, and I use the term feature very loosely, that works in a way none of us figured it would.

In all honesty, it doesn't even work. What good is it if you can only edit your own players, and nobody else? 99% of commissioners are going to be accused of cheating if a player has a +7 progression now.

Definitely. I'm tempted to shelf this game. Won't give it the NASCAR 2011 treatment and return it, but my desire to play it isn't there.

Just a side note about online dynasty's, notice the commish can ONLY change his schedule? Well once you get past year 1, the commish is able to set the schedules of every user team in the dynasty. Maybe the sames true for edits? Im not sure, but hope that helped

I was able to edit my other coaches schedule though, in addition to my own, to start with. I moved all of their week 2 games to week 1 so we all wouldn't have a bye in week 1.

As for this editing stuff, yeah this new feature that was so hyped is completel bogus if all you can do is edit your own freaking team. If anything I'd rather you not be able to edit ANYONE because all it can lead to are people mistrusting that their commish has edited his own players.

Seriously I can't even believe this is how it was supposed to work! Hopefully someone from EA will pop in and say it's not how it's supposed to work and it will be fixed!!
