NCAA Football>Players leaving early: Does the AI use this?

Does the AI use this feature or am I at a distinct advantage? Seems SOOOOO easy to talk guys into staying.

Has anyone confirmed whether or not the AI uses this successfully? [Reply]

I just won the Orange Bowl with GT in my first year and had 5 underclassmen try to leave early. 2 were redshirt sophomores, 3 were juniors. Also had 3 guys want to transfer out. I was only able to talk one of the juniors into staying.

1/8 stayed. I was so pissed. How is it easy to get them to stay? [Reply]

It depends if some of my players want to leave early but in no way will make the draft class for Madden. (82 overall RS soph reciever)...I don't allow them to leave, I just keep redoing it until they stay. [Reply]

I don't talk them into staying regardless of who they are.
#1- i am not sure if the CPU can do it. and
#2- i feel the user has enough perks versus the CPU in recruiting that i can live with some guys leaving early. [Reply]

I had one case where I believed it was impossible to keep my one player from leaving.

I had to reload about 40 times, and regardless how much time I spent he always left. [Reply]

dude its EA sports...they take the easy way out on everything so of course they don't have the AI do it. [Reply]

I do this as well. In addition to that, I have recruiting restrictions so that I can't get ridiculous recruiting classes every year. [Reply]

I typically won't recruit someone if they don't have an initial interest in my school. That helps to even it out a bit, especially when I'm using some of the less prestigious schools. [Reply]
