struggled passing? passing is easy on 10(not as easy as 09's wide open gameplay but still easy), and you can lead the recievers without using player lock

Passing is so easy. I average like 600 Passing yards per game with WSU on Heisman.

I'm talking online passing against all the cheese defense and aggressive game planning offline I can easily pass. Online play use to be a different story

I only play online and really have never had a problem. I lead the WR's all the time without being on player lock.
The key to passing is understanding what plays work against zone and what plays work against man.

exactly, knowing What works against the defense they are using and being able to read the defense presnap is the key to any offense run or pass, if you need to player lock to be successful then by all means use it but passing is very easy, athough the player lock camera angle on the qb is nice and make it easier to see the wrs

Thanks for the advice. To bad people feel the need to rip on you just because you took some time out of your day to help someone else that may be struggling on their passing game.

Until Bucknut's 2nd post, I didn't understand why you'd need to use playerlock. You can still use precision passing without player locking. I'm not sure what the camera looks like in player lock so maybe that makes it easier, but you should be fine without player locking. If you don't use player lock you can:
1. Still use precision passing
2. Still let the CPU catch the ball for you if that's easier for you.
3. If you let the CPU catch it, you can then take control and run the receiver (I'm sure every user is a better running with the ball than the CPU).
4. If your pass is off target, you can take control of the receiver when the ball is mid-flight and go get it.
If you player lock on the QB, you lose out on 3 and 4 so you'd have to decide if the camera angle makes that worthwhile or not.

i usually dont use player lock, for those reasons, i play a few games a week online but mostly in a OD with above average players, in user games if you player lock your going to throw a lot of ints because you have to be able to adjust and undercut the dbs or break off the route to make the catch. when playing the cpu ill use it when playing a bad team just to make it tougher because you cant adjust to the ball.you can see the field better for sure though.
