NCAA Football>Questionable recruiting

a im in an online dynasty with a guy who has 8 recruits who are 5 star, and when i take it offline and advance it, he gets 4 more the next week who are all 5 star...I'm the commish and its someone i know, so i want to be sure

he is using Texas coming off a loss in the orange bowl and a 11-2 season

seem possible or is something going on?? [Reply]

I have found in my offline dynasty that most 4 and 5 star recruits that get added to the pool after the season have Texas or Ohio State as their #1 team. So seems right to me. [Reply]

this is during the regular season, following that season i mentioned, not during the offseason, were talking week 6 of 2010 [Reply]

I just started an offline dynasty so i looked there were 17 5* players with Texas listed in their top 3, combine that with the schedule has Texas Tech a rivalry game week 3 where I'm guessing he had a lot of visits it is possible, there are a few cheese things he could be doing, but Texas has a lot of talent in state. With a good recruiter I think it can be done without cheating. [Reply]

How do you cheese with recruiting?

there are ways of cheeing when recruiting in online dynasties its been discussed on here before I'm not going to tell you how, but with a little searching you can find it [Reply]

One way to do it is to take the dynasty offline and then go to recruiting and unlock the different pitches for the recruits you are targeting. That way, you can see which pitches they have high, very high, or most interest in and you don't waste your minutes in the actual dynasty. It is impossible to catch people doing this. I don't know if it works on this years game, but last year after a player visited, you could remove them from the your board and then add them back and it would allow you to schedule another visit. This one is easy to catch if you pay attention to who the other people are recruiting. Had to boot a couple of people out of dynastirs last year because of it. [Reply]

This isn't impossible to catch. I know at least 1 of my OD commishes checks for this (and in '09 he banned at least 1 guy for doing this). The Commish can take it offline and look at everyone's recruiting. If they have a good mix of low/avg/high/etc then they're likely legit. If the vast majority of their pitches (especially if it's all of their pitches) are high/very high/most, then it's extremely likely that they're cheating. [Reply]
