Central Michigan #2 lost to Florida #1 for the NC in the most recent dynasty I started. LeFevour won the heisman. [Reply]

Yep, Third Season of Dynasty, Week 9, USC is out of Top 25. So is Florida, Oklahoma, and Ohio State.

No real Cinderellas yet. Cal is #1, Texas #2. North Carolina and Georgia Tech seem to be in the Top 10 a lot, even though they always have a few losses. [Reply]

North Texas beat Texas in a bowl one year on one of mine. USC had to beat some Mountain West team in 3OT in the Las Vegas bowl that same year. [Reply]

Checking the "News" one night while playing my offline dynasty when while flipping through the headlines, I come across: "ULL Silences the 97,000 in the Grand Ole Lady"

At the time SC was ranked number 5 and ULL went in and beat them 17 to 13. That same ULL team went on to go 9-3 on the season and win the Sun Belt and their bowl game.

That was the biggest surprise of that season IMO. [Reply]

In my aforementioned dynasty, Troy was ranked #9, went to a BCS bowl and won (I forgot who they played).

It seems like every year there is a potential Cinderella team that's something like 10-0 or 11-0 but they end up losing one of their last games and miss the BCS. [Reply]

Troy should be good every year, but every dynasty I play in they fail. Which is odd, considering they're probably the best non-BCS school besides teams like Boise, TCU, and Utah. [Reply]

not really a cinderella team but i have been simming and have gone about 15 years and North Carolina is a beast and are regulary ranked #1 and stuff. wouldn't expect that. [Reply]

I haven't had many big Cinderella stories in NCAA 10 yet besides Boise State but that doesn't really count since it's me conrtroling them.

In NCAA 09 I had a Big time Cinderella though: Sandiego State made it to and won the NCG against Auburn in the first season I think they went from 2 star to 4 star in that one year and then they kept winning in years after that. They never made it back to the NCG but ended up being a 5 star team when I quit playing 09. [Reply]

Miami (OH) went undefeated and beat FSU 21-7 and PSU by 10.
But lost to Ball State, who beat Ole Miss and Pitt.
Ball State went undefeated, but was shut out of the NCG in favor of UO (me)-Texas, both undefeated.

Ball State beat UNC (with 1 loss at the time) by 3 in the Orange.
Miami (OH) played PSU again, and won again [Reply]

Certainly. I've only been simming seasons to get draft classes for Madden, so I chose my school (Central Michigan) and they've turned from a 2-star school to a 6-star powerhouse. They're #2 in the nation, heading up to play Boise State in the BCS Championship. It's unbelievable. [Reply]
