2:22 A.M. PST and I got logged out of live because there is an update.

Surely an announcement would of been made about this. I don't think I've heard of a game getting a 3rd patch before...

A few have, but they are generally MS games that don't have to pay the fee a third patch costs. I do find it odd a title update would happen not only because of that (fee), but i don't recall one on a monday morning either. I do know i received an update on something, however but i would have to agree- i would have expected an announcement if one had been coming.

Yeah I'm sure update isn't necessarily synomymous with patch, in all cases.

I'm pretty sure it was NCAA related, because it said it was for that particular game. Rather than saying "system update' or something, it said you can't log into Xbox live unless you accept the update for this game.
