PS3 connection issues

Ok here is my problem. When the game is loading and its trying to connect to the season showdown servers i get disconnected from the internet on both my ps3 and computer. I have all the ports open that i need i dont understand the issue. This is the only game i have ever had trouble with. Any ideas would be a huge help.

EA sent me this when I called them and asked them when they had server issues recently. This may help if you can understand it


Ports:
TCP: 80, 443, 25500-25599, 14000-14199

UDP: 9570, 3659, 6000, 9950-9974, 9980-9989

yea they gave me the same info, didnt help.

They also said something needed to be disabled, and it was on mine, I don't remember what it was though.

I had this problem when I first got the game. I had my PS3 set up in a DMZ. I actually had to remove it from the DMZ for the game to work. Like you, this was the only game that ever gave me a problem. NCAA 2009 and Rock band worked fine with the PS3 in the DMZ.

It could be a router or connection speed issue
