2 questions

1) Why are you surprised by this?

2) Why did you start a thread about this?

Not sure why putting a WR at TE is cheese. You can sub in an extra wideout for the TE's spot in most formations with the defensive packages anyways. You lose definite blocking when you run also.

That'd be correct if:
1) Ratings mattered
2) People actually ran online, especially cheesers.

I don't know maybe for the fact that his 94 speed against much slower lb's in coverage will lead to him being open all the time. Have to love people who deny obvious cheesing.

What do you mean by #2? I play a lot of people that try and run the ball.

Yeah...I guess it's a disadvantage if you are running man the whole game against it...

Unless i'm running 3-2-6 or something with 4 corners on the field, most of the time an lb is going to have to check a wideout in man coverage. This is not cheese. It's not a huge exploit in the game that people can use to score or gain yards every time. Wow, it's a problem against one kind of D. Cool...

Here's a good idea. It's called defensive hot routes, and you can put a blitzing corner on man coverage with a bump/run, and then defensive key that guy too if you are that worried about the unstoppable WR at TE ncaa glitch that has been dominating online play.

.....Seriously....

Re: Just played a super awesome cheeser

Here's a good example of cheese things in this game.

Wr as a qb.
SS/CB as a DE.
Scrambling out or up the middle every play with a running qb.
Using 3-2-6/1-5-5 every play to stop the run

It's a joke if anyone tries to prove that putting a wr into a te spot is anywhere near as effective as doing one of the things above. Those things are cheese. This, is not.

This is the one that pisses me off. Played a guy that ran the 1-5-5 and could not run against it. Let alone he pressed every receiver and TE. I finally was told how to beat it, but its just boring and stupid. I tried telling him how it wasnt real football to run that every play to stop the run and he didnt even get it.

I have yet to see the ss/cb at DE, but I can imagine that you should be able to run all over that correct?
