Special Teams needs to be updated in NCAA '11

Remember the old days when you could actually squib kick the ball? Remember when you could actually fake an onside kick (kick the ball over the players)? Remember when you could do an end-around with the receivers on the kick off? Whatever happened to those little plays that made the special teams experience actually fun?

Here's what I want to see added next year:

1. Squib kick
2. This trick play:



3. True kickoff left & right returns (look at how the blockers set up):



4. The ability to kick a really high ball to one of the blockers (fair catch situation with the possibility of a fumble)

5. I want to see "long snappers" that miss the punter or the placeholder...wouldn't it be awesome to see the punter kick the ball out of the back of the endzone or the holder on a field goal completely screw up the hold?

Special teams is definitely the red-headed stepchild. We need to have squib kicks, one man returns, and FORMATION SUBS for special teams (and offense/defense).

There are also a lot of other things that need to be added. The spread punt formation, rugby style punts, various return schemes that should be added. Special Teams has been largely neglected since the series began.

How about adding KR RIGHT or LEFT....I mean seriously, why can the kickoff team pick it and the return team can't? Makes no frickin sense!

I wish they would actually put the correct holder on field goals and pat's. Every EA Madden and NCAA game created has always put the second string qb at this position. In real life it could be a punter, rb, or another wide reciever. I would also like kr right, middle, left. I even pm'd OMT about that last year and I guess they think special teams are not important.

i dont get why ppl always complain about a lack of a squib kick. just change the arrow to take the trajectory all the way down... thats what a squib is right? on the same note u can kick it straight into the air to one of the blockers... a guy kept doing that to me online the other day and pissed me off

im scared if they have formation subs cheesers will put they're CB in at DE, RB at QB, or something stupid like that.

I would like at least formation subs on kickoff teams. why does my number 3 cb HAVE to be the right gunner when in real life its just the fastest guy. I want to be able to get more pt for my young guys

Special teams need to be fun again man. Online play and the cheesers would make some problems but, they always do.
