im i the only one that feels....

is it just me or does anyone else not like the fact that the progressive lighting is not right? let me explain, i just played the big 12 champ game that takes place in kansas city mo in the game,9 irl this yr it will be played at the new dallas cowboy stadium) the game time is set for 8 pm, now i lived in mo for 3 yrs and on dec 5th at 8 pm the start of the game is not going to be in daylight and then go to night after halftime, thats not realistic, also after i finished the game i made it to the nc game. i wanted to see what the start of the game would look like and when i checked it out it was early in the daylight hours. now i know is cali and they are 3 hrs time difference from the east coast but even in january it is pretty much dark or it is dark already for a 8 pm kick off. i simmed the 1st half to see if it got totally dark after the half and it did not. maybe im the only one that thinks this is not realistic and i dont like it at all. i was enjoying the game until then. even with the unrealistic prog lighting. oh well maybe next year. rant over

It feels really bad to me. I like that it's back, but when it goes from a game starting at 2 PM to being dark after halftime, it's ridiculous. It's a bit overdone. And the extreme change in sky coloring is overdramatized.

It is a bit weird. I would think the reason they took it out last year was because they weren't happy with it, so why put it back in if it still doesn't work right?

It worked great in 08. It actually progressed as the game was played, not after halftime. They took it out last year because they were trying the whole "real stadium shadows" thing, which couldn't be used with progressive lighting.

i agree 08 was awesome and much more realistic than this yrs version. i dont complain much about this game even tho there is stuff to complain about but im not happy with the prog lighting this yr, but i am glad we have something like it
