I'm not going to debate PS3 v 360. I do think that PS3 with the Bluray has the potential to make far better games. From what I've heard from the devs it won't make a difference in game play which is code based, but more disk space would allow for more video/cut scenes and audio. This would allow for much better presentation that most are asking for.
Now, do I think that they should be developing on PS3 to port to 360? No. It doesn't make any sence at this point in time. It's already been pointed out that there are more 360 owners than PS3 owners, not to mention that supposedly it is easier to dev on the 360. Why try to cater to PS3 only users when they make up a smaller % of your target market, and it would be more difficult(ie... COST MORE) to develope on the PS3?
As I said earlier though, I do believe that PS3 has the potential for superior games, but it is up to SONY to prove that, with their exclusive games. I think they've done a fairly good job so far, but they still have work to do.
No offence to EA Devs, but I would really like to see what SONY could do with a football game made exclusively for PS3. Then we could at least have a realistic debate about which way is better, and not based on theory and comparison of games that though simillar are still too different to truly compare. We can compare The Show with other baseball games (I think most agree PS3 wins that one), but until SONY makes a PS3 exlusive football game this is all theory and guessing.

Good post. They did say that the game is NOT ported from the 360 to PS3 as well. We seem to be forgetting that.
The thing with the replays is nice to know (thx Ian), so I can def see how that area between the games is a win for the 360. The bluray capacity thing on the discs however does intrigue me, and it would be nice to see how it can be used more on the PS3 end. Being able to process/handle alot more in game is another strength of the PS3 (played a little KZ2 this morning and its amazing how much action is going on between the players and environement and the amazing lighting detail in that game).
