I have the show and kill zone for the ps3 and watch blu rays...

no game on ps3 has made me want to sell my 360

disk space does not equal better game...unless you think the commentary is what is holding back ncaa and madden from greatness...
If you own both systems, why are you so bent on one being better than the other?

Nobody cares if you aren't blown away by the PS3, that isn't what this thread is about.

And I have Killzone 2, Uncharted Drakes Fortune, Resistance 2, Infamous, MGS4, MLB The Show, LittleBigPlanet, amongst a host of other games. However I'm sure no one much cares for what games I own.

Who said anything about selling your 360?

It isn't just commentary that the disk holds.... so that's a moot point. It's been said, games such as The Show aren't possible on the 360.

technically, the show could be put on 360, if they cut back on the commentary.

Or if it came on 2 DVDs and you installed one to the HD.

Re: Why Not Develop on The PS3?

now that ms is allowing digital downloads of new games and we are able to install games to the hdd, i wouldn't care if a game came on 3 dvds and required an install to hdd like a computer.

Re: Why Not Develop on The PS3?

Guys, the reason for developing for the 360 first has already been stated.

According to VGChartz the 360 has an installed user base in North America of 13,428,479 compared to 8,772,935 for the PS3. Unless Sony can significantly narrow that gap EA would be foolish to change their current policy of developing for the 360 first.

Re: Why Not Develop on The PS3?

This is such a ridiculous argument, saying the ps3 is better then the 360 and that a game made on the ps3 and then ported to the 360 would be better then 360 to the ps3 because The Show is such a great game is the stupidest thing I have ever heard. That is like saying a Honda civic is a better racing car then a Ferrari because they have seat covers made for the civic then they do for the Ferrari.

Also how do you supposed that this two disc sports game is going to work? Am I going to throw a deep pass and then halfway through the ball flight I get the message "please insert the second disk" just because the catch animation is not on that cd?

To blame the inadequacies of the NCAA series on the next-gen systems on the systems themselves is just ludicrous.

It's as simple as installing both discs to the HD.

I had the red ring of death shortly after I bought the thing and had to send it back again a few months later again. However, they gave me a brand new 360 two years ago after it broke and it has worked flawlessly ever since, so yes, it works perfectly for me.

Well for others, 33% of others actually, their sytems don't work perfectly.
