Re: ***Official DEMO Bugs and Glitches Thread***

The cpu WR caught a ball on my 7 yard line and rather than run directly into the endzone for an easy TD, he ran straight down the 5 yard line until a defender far away from him made the tackle a couple seconds later. I don't know what caused this but it was very odd. I was trying to let them score to get to OT (full blitz with a 4-3 against Florida's shotgun with under 20 seconds left) and when I saw this I couldn't believe it. Was it just an absolute fluke or what? I don't know.

The cpu still choose to get the ball first in OT if it wins the toss. This logic needs to be fixed.

Re: ***Official DEMO Bugs and Glitches Thread***

When playing my brother (I was UF, he was OU), he calls a passing play out of the gun with Bradford. I flush him out of the pocket to the right, but he finds a spot to settle down and reset his feet near the right sideline. He has a guy open about ten yards in front of him (the receiver had settled into a soft spot in my zone, as his route was a 10-yard hook), so he sets his feet and throws.

Rather than simply tossing the ball to the open receiver in front of him, however, Bradford proceeds to throw the lamest of lame ducks, and the ball doesn't travel towards the receiver but rather left and backwards diagonally. The play is correctly ruled a fumble, which I recover and return for a touchdown with UF's impact defensive end.

I'm not sure what would cause Bradford to throw a pass backwards, sideways, and with such a high trajectory given that he was under no pressure at all where he was and his feet were set, as under such circumstances Bradford should still be able to throw the ball reasonably well and certainly much better than the end result of this play. Under the exact circumstances above, this should never happen.

Timeouts can be called consecutively in college, even using all 3 at once if they still have them. The NFL does not allow for timeouts to be called consecutively, regardless of how many timeouts are still available to a team.

Tim Tebow apparently completed a 70 yard pass to himself for a TD...

They still haven't fixed the whole Target + Yard TD Reception stat that pops up after you score...

Re: ***Official DEMO Bugs and Glitches Thread***

Glad someone finally pointed out the 3 timeouts in a row is legal in college. As for the offensive penalty on the last play of the game, I am 99% sure the game has that right too. I've seen games end where the offense scored a touchdown on the last play of the game but was called for offensive interference, and the touchdown was taken away and the game is over. You don't get an untimed down for an offensive penalty, so there's no reason to have another play when there's no time on the clock. Never once seen an ump declare that the offense gets an untimed down as a reward for committing a penalty. Makes sense on no level.

The holding on the FG thing used to be on the old gen, 07 and 08 mostly, and it would call you for holding like almost 10% of the time on field goal tries. I lost over the course of the year I was playing at least 7-10 games because I was lining up for a FG on the last play and the game could just decide to call holding whenever it felt like it. So I had to start stopping the clock with about 6-10 seconds left so that I could run another FG. Saved me at least a handful of games, but it mysteriously called it a lot less if there was time for another try after that. I'd rather they get rid of this all together because I will start to see some of those games from 08 in my sleep if this happens to me again haha. But seriously, how many times a season do you see holding called on a FG try? I'm not sure I saw this more than once last season, but if the game is like 08 on the old gen, I bet it happens to my team about 5 times a year alone.

NFL rules -- can't find college

http://www.nfl.com/rulebook/foulonlastplay

"Foul on Last Play of Half or Game
On a foul by defense on last play of half or game, the down is replayed if penalty is accepted.
On a foul by the offense on last play of half or game, the down is not replayed and the play in which the foul is committed is nullified.

Exception: Fair catch interference, foul following change of possession, illegal touching. No score by offense counts. "

Re: ***Official DEMO Bugs and Glitches Thread***

the only thing ive noticed is sometimes when the ball is hiked, it goes over the qbs head, like 10 yards back, but is considered an incomplete pass.

OU's kicker is wearing gray sleeves and Florida's Riley Cooper is wearing gray half sleeves. Hope this isn't in the final version....
