Well if it did that, then it wouldn't be player lock, would it?

Player lock is cool when you are punt returning. Get to be the punt returner right away not after the ball is kicked. Be sweet on long range field goals. Return one back for 7 or watch the ball sail over ya.

So you can abuse Tech's dink & dunk passing?

Re: Official NCAA Football 10 Demo Impressions

Somebody help me out... I've never played the other demo's, always waited for the game. That said, this demo leaves me feeling really depressed. The graphics look so lousy. I've been playing NFL2K5 lately and I'm stunned that a last gen game can look so superior to a Next Gen game in its fourth year.

The camera... when you want to see the routes and the camera jumps up... what is up with that? Then, if you motion someone you get stuck with the camera way up in the clouds and the transition back to normal is not smooth at all.

The game looks choppy as all get out. So... someone please tell me, is this typical of demo's? Because if the game plays like this, I won't be buying it. And I am diehard college football fan and have spent a ton of time on Team Builder getting teams created that now, probably won't even be used.

Not really. I've noticed that when I blitz the cpu goes deep. If you are playing a human you could always risk/reward and strip the ball soon as they catch it or swat which will make the dlineman jump.

I truly love the over the shoulder catch animations.

Not sure if this demo is going to make me run out and buy it this year but it's definitely fun to play.

Re: Official NCAA Football 10 Demo Impressions

Is a night game so you won't see progressive lighting....not even sure that is in the game

I am sure the game would look better in day or afternoon games. Ea and all sports games have never had a great looking night game

Heisman plays terrific. Love how balanced it feels

And the demo last year was the same as retail. I hate when people use that excuse

Reqason people thought it was better was because of the level you played in

Nobody with experience will play on varsity

This demo u can change the level and heisman plays great and I expect it to play the same
