My screen had an offer for a $1 the first month (have had Gold before), took them up on it and was downloading the demo moments later.

As for the graphics on the 360, I had played '09 several nights before getting the demo and was dismayed to see the state of the '10 graphics except for relatively close animations. The off-the-playing field images look like garbage ... this has all been detailed elsewhere on the thread. (I play on a big screen HD.)

I'm hoping we're pleasantly surprised with the release version's graphics and crowd chants.

My wife pointed the same thing out to me... she thinks that my PS3 version this year looks far more appealing than my 360 09 version. I tend to agree

is it possible that the real game will look better than the demo because it can fit more crap on it? Or are the demos able to hold the same amount of data or space to give you the optimal look of a game? I'm not saying a drastic change but maybe just a slight sharpening or something.

Took about three drives to realize this is the same old game as ever. Second play of the game, the computer runs a little flare out of the backfield with the running back that is wide open, but just like every other previous NCAA game he proceeds to run straight out of bounds, seemingly oblivious to the fact that you are allowed to change your route up so that it doesn't lead straight out of bounds. A couple drives later there's the patented option pitch five yards downfield through multiple defenders, only about half of whom were paying attention to the play enough to be running in roughly the correct direction. EA needs to turn this thing over to their Canadian developers, they just seem so incredibly more competent than Tiburon.

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here

A number of PS3 users have said that their demo looks like crap and wondered if the 360 demo looked the same.

I don't think the 360 demo for NCAA '10 looks bad, but it does look a little different. It's difficult to tell b/c we're looking at a night game in a huge stadium only, but it looks like the colors are a little more extreme, while the players look a little more "cartoony" from a distance, due to a lack of texture. I don't know if anyone else agrees with me, but there's just something a little different about them.

Ya the bright colors in the demo bother me a little. I don't notice that problem in the gameplay vids that steve and others have released
