Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here

game seems OK havent played ncaa for like 2 years.

i really liked that new defensive camera they had for rushing the qb or what not seems cool on how the offensive linemen line up

when i played with florida on the first qb run with tebow he fractured his leg and was out for 12 weeks anyways i still won the game but one think that i didnt really like are the WR catching animations yet it still seems weird in certain situations especially in the endzone and weirdly the CB goes way out of posistion i mean the game still seemed kinda fun but lacked emotion in the demo just my 2 cents but it is a DEMO.

does seem like they put way more work into madden tho but thats finally deserving

As of right now, it looks that way. I just don't see that much of an important to warrant $60 at this time.

Guys keep seeing a difference in gameplay and I played both back and forth the last few days, and I really don't see anything different, I think 09 gameplay is better IMO. Who knows, maybe after viewing more videos I may change my mind.

I'm just not giving $60 out of the gate until the patches for the roster and sliders come out, this two issues are major for me, and It's pretty upsetting that these two major factors in the game are not right at release.

It's crazy but 09 is the better looking game based on playing NCAA 10 demo.

I'm over on 360, but I don't think I disagree with you. Part of it is the dynamic camera, which takes some getting used to. But I just feel like there's a little less detail on the player models, and they have this blurry effect when you're zoomed out that may be intentional, but looks kinda bad.

It could be an issue with the demo, but our demo was 1.6 GB, which is pretty darn large for a demo. I remember NBA 2k8 came out and people were FREAKED by the crummy graphics, though that demo was like 350 MB!

i think the demo is good and the graphics look pretty good. I am glad that they fixed the fluidity of running. I almost think it is worth it to buy ncaa 10 just so i do not have to watch my guy look awkward as he runs toward the end zone with a hitch in his gitty up.

I noticed in the demo when I wasn't holding turbo the right stick moves worked much better. Loving this game except zig zag running. With TB, CAS, improved CPU recruiting logic w\player position changes and actual defense by the CPU makes this a must buy for me.

Ok, now I'm ready to go home to d/l this demo and see if the qb auto-throw is already up and running.

Well, after doing a search....NEVERMIND!

This vide has all my concerns wrapped up in to 1.

1. Rocket catching
2. Dropping back 15+ yards and still throwing 70+ yards down field accurately.
3. Running 15+ yards towards the sidelines and the D-Line has no clue.

Re: NCAA Football 10 Demo Now Available, Post Your Impressions Here

Im still sucking on defense, i like to play as the fs, and the pressure is horrible. I must be the minority but the cpu seems to get alot of pressure on me but i cant seem to apply any, and then the cpu throws the ball so freakin fast. I hope this is b/c both qbs are the top 2 qbs in the game, b/c this robo qb crap is getting on my nerve. How can i be givin up 200-300 yds in an 8 min game with the top rated defense. Cpu throws slant routes every play, the cover 2 is suppose to stop that, i played linebacker and safety and the wr would be scared 2 run a slant b/c the lb would be waiting there to knock off his face mask but no, not on the game, cpu throws slant, slant, deep. Once again i will be 1st at stopping the run and dead last at stopping the pass. In my fiu dynasty i will be getting destroyed.
