WoW! Transfers need to be toned down!

I like to check to see which teams get transfers after the 1st season and I come across Bama.......WOW!

QB - Colt McCoy (Texas)
RB - Craig Cooper (Miami)
RB - Caleb King (UGA)
WR - Terrance Toliver (LSU)
WR - AJ Green (UGA)

Needless to say they will be set for the next few years....and Julio stayed!

Jesus. Pretty unrealistic if you asked me. All those guys are gonna be studs at their respective schools most likely, except McCoy cause he already is a star.

EA should definitely look at this and make transfers a lil more realistic.

I've never noticed anything weird that like and I've done a bunch of simming for my draft classes. The only thing I've seen is some freshman and soph guys in the low 80's who consider leaving. Ohio State's RB Saine is one that sticks out and he's a 82.

In the dynasty I'm playing in I'm in my 3rd year with Iowa and have only seen 1 guy transfer to me and he was a LB from Ohio State that was a junior and a 78 overall.

It's probably hit or miss on the transfers however.

I'm in year 5 with Cinci and have had just one transfer. It was actually Sam McGuffie but it wasnt until i already had a full stable of running backs (two backs over 1000 yards running what amounts to Navy's offense). He was eligible with just one year left, this year, which turned out okay cause my second back transfered away (after having 1100 yards rushing and startings the second half when my other guy went down). But McGuffie went down in the second game of the year for the season so it never even really ammounted to anything.

yeah, its just another example of what i meant in my other thread about randomness versus logic being way off here. EA needs to take a step back and ask some people in the know why people transfer.

the biggest reasons for transfers are the following:
1) because someone YOUNGER then you at your position beats you out EARLY in your college career.
2) new coaches come in with a new system that now no longer fits your expertise which typically results in #1 taking place
3) family issues at home or special circumstances which are far and few in between and typically result in NCAA waiving the year out

EA just needs some logic in this. I personally would like EA to add a reason why guys are leaving early for pros or XFERing to another school. For pros it should include where he is projected to go in the draft and for XFERing it should state why he wants out so you can learn from that and fix it for the next guy.

I agree with logic for one main reason.

99% of coaches DO NOT allow kids to transfer within their conference. They can even go so far to say they cannot transfer to their rivals or teams they will be playing in the near future.

I wish EA would at least get the conference part correct.

Or just use whatever logic they did on the old gen systems. Cause back then i never really noticed a problem with transferring or actually never noticed a problem with most of the issues on the next gen systems. I LOVE this game i play it alot, but EA definitely has some things to fix and i hope they are taking notice.

That is a good point. Inner-conference transfers are very rare. What needs to happen is more guys going from big schools to smaller ones if they are going to transfer more often than power school to power school.
