Re: Request List For NCAA 2010

I wish the teams would warm up before the game. ( Even if it is animated ) or you could do warm up drills, and depending on how good you do it determines how hot or cold you are to start off the game. And at the end of the game have celebrations. ( I think 07 had it )

-More commentary. I think they pretty much used last years commentary this year. Im tired off " AARP says, pick this play " I know it would be probaly hard but i dont like how they say the score ( Ohio state............38 Michigan..............14 ) Also what would be nice is when a player gets hurt, a couple of plays later have some talk about the injury and when he will be back.

- Also, during recruiting, if you recruit a 3 star recruit and he ends up being a 85 OVR. Kind of a ' needle in a haystack' or a draft steal if u get what i mean.

- Weather that effects the game play.

- I liked the ' little fights' they had in this game. Maybe if two huge school rivals played and through out the game they had little battles ( Like between the CB and the WR or DL VS OL ) I dont think the universities would like that though lol

Im not complaining, i think 09 is an awesome game, i think these could make next years game even better.

-Also what i just thought of would be when a player receiving a huge hit, his helmet would fly off. and they should also make mouthguards that the players could take out and put back back in.
- And if your team is kind of sucking, instead of the stadium filled up, only half of the fans show up.

Another year and MORE ridiculous items on the NCAA wish list

"Oooh I know, I wanna be able to customize my player's mustache!"

Seriously, who cares??? I could care less if everyone looked exactly the same if the gameplay was solid.

Obviously these people care and you are kind of condescending with that statement. Sure the gameplay needs fixing but we all know EA isn't going to just focus on gameplay for next year's version...it's nice to dream.

Boy, does '09 have you in a tizzy!

Re: Request List For NCAA 2010

A lot of great ideas in this thread. And although I do agree that gameplay is the biggest need of improvement, this is a wish list, so why not also wish for improvements in other areas? Presentation, celebrations, etc are some that have already been mentioned that could be improved on.

Me, one thing that would be cool would be the ability to form team identities. For example, you can choose to have your team be cocky and full of swagger, or be a disciplined team where all the players are a team first kind of guy.

This can be apparent in how ESPN Headlines and campus newspapers in the game portray certain teams, how players celebrate, etc. Also recruiting should also be integrated as well. If you sign a large number of guys with Pro Factory and Television Exposure as their priorities, then that goes towards building a team full of brash, cocky guys a la the Miami Hurricanes. Conversely, signing a bunch of guys with Championship Contender and Academic Prestige as their priorities would go towards building a different team identity.

This can also be applied to coaches in how you play. Run up the score a lot? Then you and your school would earn a certain reputation. Pull all your starters in a blowout and kneel the ball a lot? Again, that would go towards building a reputation.

Re: **Official NCAA Football 2010 Wishlist Thread**

Little things:

Fix pride stickers in dynasty so that the stickers are visible. Fix Alabama's helmet's so the numbers are visible during regular gameplay. Maybe add the option for us to award them ourselves in dynasty even.

Bring coaching menu outside of dynasty to allow editing of coach name and strategies prior to starting dynasty.

Bring back the cold weather only option for long sleeves so at least some incoming recruits will wear sleeves in cold weather games. As it is now, no recruit in dynasty has long sleeves even if it is 20 degrees during the game.

Big things:

Cpu AI running with the ball in hand needs an overhaul. The cpu needs to be capable of more finite movement around the line of scrimmage. As it is now, the cpu will try to navigate holes in the line and try to get into space by juking unnecessarily. Better overall field awareness for cpu runners is needed.

OL/DL interaction...the discussions about this are already well documented here.

Running game out of the shotgun needs improvement, especially the blocking on the zone read plays. This is very important for spread option teams. Watch Oregon 2007 for how to correctly execute blocking on those plays. Jonathan Stewart ran for over 1,700 yards almost exclusively on those plays.

CPU QB AI needs an overhaul. The decision making seems to be geared towards looking for the short underneath route above all else. I played a game the other day and the cpu was down a touchdown with 25 seconds left and they kept dumping it off on the underneath route.

CPU playcalling also needs re-working.

More sliders, more effective sliders, more options to tweak the game in general would eliminate a lot of the ire the developers receive every year after release.

Fix pursuit angles and eliminate speed handicaps for certain positions. The speed of QB's is some situations is ridiculous, they are in a full out sprint but look like they've got cement blocks on their feet. Copy Madden's QB scrambling speed. It's perfect.

Re: **Official NCAA Football 2010 Wishlist Thread**

- You should be able to start your own traditions.

- Teams accept or reject scheduling request.

- Ability to forge and break rivalries.

-
Coaching carousel

-
Some kind of High School All-Star game/camp feature would be great so you could actually see the kids play (similar to that of College Hoops).

- Have A Spring Game

- Have a weekly in-studio recap show
