Re: **Official NCAA Football 2010 Wishlist Thread**

Had something to add to all of my previous requests. This came up in my online dynasty yesterday. I'm using Oregon, and Darron Thomas is my QB. He's started for 2 years and has increased in ratings from 76 to 85 in two seasons. Another guy in the dynasty is using Ohio State. I'm not sure what he started out at...I think it is somewhere around 83 or 84. Anyway, he started one season, and has went up to 96 overall in those 2 years. Now, normally I wouldn't have much beef with this. Pryor is a great player and looks to have a bright future. The only thing is, though is that Thomas passed for 3800 yards and 40+ TDs his first year, and 3200 yards and 35 TDs his second year, plus about 300 yards rushing per year. Pryor didn't play his first year, then ran for about 600 yards and passed for just over 1000 yards, with twice as many interceptions than TD passes. If Tim Tebow came out and had a year like that this year, next year's game would have him drop in ratings, not jump 6 points. So what's my suggestion? Results based improvements. My backup QB got 4 points of AWR better during the season without taking any snaps the whole year, yet my starting QB got no points better. So I realize that you can't really have results based improvements in the offseason, because the backups would never get any better. But I suggest in season improvements/drops in rating be added. After Pryor threw his 10th pick of the year with only 3 TD passes, his rating should have dropped from 92 into the 80s. After Thomas threw his 30 TD passes for the second straight year, with only 8 interceptions, his rating should have been up from 80 to 85 by this point.

I'd like to see a coach mode or AT LEAST the WR Control work around from Madden where you select a WR, activate WR Control, switch to another player and snap the ball leaving the QB to make his own decisions.

That is all

I'm just full of good ideas.

Why don't people who aren't A) carrying the football, or B) tackling the ball carrier get hurt? You never see an O-lineman go down, or a D-lineman who got cut blocked hurt his knee. It makes depth at those positions pretty useless sometimes.

Re: **Official NCAA Football 2010 Wishlist Thread**

· Improve the cpu running game
· Improve the cpu deep passing game
· improved presentation with a real half time and post game show
· improved playbooks along with formation subs
· better OL/DL engine that features more moves for DL and less suction blocking
· make the sliders more effective and add new sliders for fumbles, fatigue, arm strength separate from throwing accuracy, split defensive awareness into awareness vs. the run, awareness vs. the pass (separate sliders for man vs. zone defense would be great too)
· add discipline to the dynasty mode
· add multiple camera angles including a defensive view while playing defense
· more player weight and momentum (I liked the weight of the PS2 players better)

Re: **Official NCAA Football 2010 Wishlist Thread**

online suggestions :

those of us who are online loyalists deserve some consideration. playing the cpu only goes so far. playing another human being who exhibits stick skills and football intelligence (not always the case online) is where the true competition is. there really is no comparision to playing the cpu when you get into a good game online.

that said..

we need as much control as possible. right now...on defense, i find myself having enough time to complete about 5 or 6 "clicks" (button presses) to make adjustments. this involves choosing a play as well. I'd like to see enough time for double that. don't decrease the 7 second clock neccessarily (though perhaps 8 seconds), but rather please have response times sped up if at all possible. lag is a factor and our individual connections... but if button response time can be increased at all, by all means do it. other sports titles offer quicker response on my same connection, so it MUST be possible.

Re: **Official NCAA Football 2010 Wishlist Thread**

make the spin move less effective
make defense matter but dont over do it i know EA has a tendency to live in extremes
pressure on the quarterback
no super qb that sees the blitz coming a mile away
quick jab step like in last gen when you tapped the l1 or r1
fix revolution face masks they go out way too far also the visors dont fit them
fix all face masks and helmets as matter of fact the helmets are way too big
make pads smaller
95% of players wear gloves
cold only sleeves
half sleeves
multi colored sleeves
running animations need to be fixed
make physical attributes like size and weight matter
not such a big difference in speed specially 4.4 guys look like theyre running in quicksand
receivers being more aggressive on deep balls and fades
smarter corners that dont always give up the slant
less missed tackles
more recruit stats and info
more player info like what their star rating was or where they are from
get rid of the gimmick games like bowling and the mascot games
improve campus legend if youre going to keep it
AD mode
more brand specific equipment

Re: **Official NCAA Football 2010 Wishlist Thread**

Had another idea after reading through a dynasty house rules recruiting thread. I was thinking that there are a few ways to help eliminate the need for house rules.
1) Bump from 70 roster spots to 85. This has already been covered, but needs to be reiterated. There should be 85 roster spots, but limit the number of players that can dress for a game.
2) When your scholarship players have to be cut, have it affect the integrity rating of the coach. I'm not sure why it's such a big deal if you tell a guy he'll get solid playing time, then he transfers after sitting on the bench once you finally see his rating and it's not as good as you thought...but then you can turn around and cut 10 guys who you promised free educations without any adverse effects.
3) One of the big complaints is that people over recruit, then cut a bunch of guys who could be playing for other teams. Easy fix: players who are cut can transfer to another school. If you're an 80 OVR sophomore QB at USC who gets cut because there's a JR and SR ahead of you on the depth chart, and a 78 OVR freshman who got chosen over you, you aren't just going to give up on football altogether. You're probably going to transfer to Washington State or UNLV or some other school like that.

Re: **Official NCAA Football 2010 Wishlist Thread**

Just a couple of things...

I hate it when I get a 15 yard penalty and I look over to see my entire bench jumping up and down like a bunch of idiots. Not to mention half of them are jumping up at the exact same time.

I agree that there shouldn't always be a sold out crowd. I was playing a UCF dynasty in which I played a FCS team, pouring rain. Not an open seat in the stadium.

I hate the FCS thing. Just take the time to put some well known DII schools in if your not willing to put them all in, no one likes having a 70-0 win over FCS East Lizards to boast about.

I'm really starting to like recruiting, I like the option to quick call, so in 2010 I would like to see more of this. Also I don't like recruiting an OLB and then him coming in directly as a LOLB, I know this is subtle because it is so easy to change, but there is no reason they shouldn't be put under a list of just Linebackers.

In my OD, I moved a power back with 84 speed over to FB because I knew he would be the third man on the Depth Chart for as long as he was there. His speed changed to 68... Why? He didn't gain weight, as far as I know his strength did not go up, so why the decrease in speed? And why so enormous? There should be no reason for this.

Along those same lines, I can't tell you how much I hate it when I'm 4 deep at OLB, and only 1 or 2 deep at MLB, so I make an attempt to move an OLB to MLB and once again, he will fall from about a 80 to a 70, in one position change. The main difference here should be learning the position, and that's why if we are willing to make the move in the off-season, we should not be punished for it.

After messing with the sliders a good bit, I've found good gameplay, good stats, and close games where there should be close games. The thing is, the way this will happen is I'll shut down previous plays for maybe 2,3, or even 4 yards and then BAM. In order to have both a realistic and a competitive game against the CPU, they seem to have an odd number of 35-70 yard plays. This works for me now, because as I said I get a realistic set of stats, but by next year I would love to see a coupe games a years where the offense beats me through first downs.

Heisman... We all know robo QB is a problem, I'm just asking that next year we loosen up on the coverage a little bit (therefore decreasing the picks), and drastically lower the way the CPU throws the pall on the money 90% of the time. Also I wouldn't mind if maybe the CPU didn't have eyes in the back of its head.

As everyone else has already said, let's see some Refs on the field, as well as a chain gang. They spent so much time on the cheerleaders and Mascots (Which are constantly break dancing on the opposite side of the field, even if their team is down by 50 points), that they took certain things like this away from the hardcore fans. Also, I'm getting sick of seeing the same Ref umpire my game, lets throw some variety in there.

Basically the same thing as above, but would it hurt to see some signature coaches? I don't know as to the rules of paying college coaches for things like that, but they have coaches in Madden right? Names and all? I would love to see Spurrier walking down the sideline then throwing his visor to the ground in anger, or possible Tressel with his old school style attire.

The Playbooks are sort of a love-hate relationship for me. I'm a Gator fan, so seeing the Gator Heavy is always cool, and using the South Carolina playbook is awesome, but I get to a point where after you begin to use different formations, your seeing the exact same plays, except with a different formation, and a slight variation on the name. Running plays work for me, they certainly have enough to keep a game original, but the pass plays... I'm just sick of running curls, slants, PA rollout.... After reading the money plays article, you can tell I am clearly spoiled with the generation of gaming.

I wouldn't mind seeing some pre-game stuff, I always hate hearing Kirk talk about "If you haven't heard about this young man yet, you certainly will today." Pause 5 seconds... "And now lets go down to the coin toss, where well get ready to kick of today's game."- There's your pre-game.

This is possibly my biggest problem with NCAA Football, and it is probably the least likely to ever get fixed. When I'm playing a Michigan State-Northwestern game, the same week OSU is in Ann Harbor taking on Michigan, I DONT WANT Lee and Kirk to be at MY game. Now I know how difficult it would be to get a variety of announcers for one game, but it always has me thinking, what if they just grabbed 5 or 6 other announcers, and spread them across the games that should be telecasted? I know that Verne for CBS does the SEC (and this is all theoretically speaking, as I know that EA would never spend the money), what if Verne did the SEC game of the week? What if Brent Musburger did the late night showdown, typically College Gameday? And then for your others, why don't they use either lower ESPN announcers or even broadcasters from networks like Raycom, and Comcast? It just seems that that would add the life to college football that everyone is looking for, but once again, it's hard to tell if EA would ever spend this kind of time and money for something casual gamers don't typically care about.

Obviously D-line/O-line needs some fixing. It would be awesome to see a casual linebacker blitz not picked up by the O-line. Also, is it possible for the QB to roll out and still actually pass the ball? I've noticed that every time the opposing QB turns on the jets, it's only to get big it 3 seconds later.

CPU running backs need to be smarter. When there's a hole, they need to hit in, not juke into the opposing D-line. When there isn't a hole, they need to either fall forward for yards, or try to juke around the defender to make a play. Not run sideways, or backwards.

After game celebrations. If Oregon State beats USC, then their fans should be ready to cover the field. If my team wins the National Championship, I'd rather see confetti falling from the sky, then hearing "And that's gonna do it folks, Michigan state... 21. Oregon State... 17" I wish maybe a little post game analyses would come after games. Maybe even have sort of a Gameday thing like 2k8 NCAA basketball does?

Online Dynasty made this the best NCAA Football since '06. Lets keep that for next year, pan out the glitches, and take into account everything everyone has said above me, and including me, and you will not see a happier bunch of fans than those who play NCAA Football 2010.
