Actually had this happen on the 360 demo the other day. The camera panned out to show the stadium and just stayed there. Could see people running on the field, but it wouldn't let me progress. Thought it was just because it was a demo, but guess not.

I don't think that this is nitpicking:

I choose play now vs. Florida State and everything seems normal during the the brief pre-game intro, you can see both teams on their sidelines, the crowd is filled in etc. Then when I line up to kick off FSU's return team isn't there. I kick off anyway and I see my kickoff team getting picked off as they run down the field and the ball is caught and run back by an invisible return man. Somehow my guys made the tackle though.


Edit: I restarted and tried 2 new teams and it happened again.


This was on 360 by the way.

Lol, I'm sorry but if I saw that in a game I would just have to laugh. Now after a few times I would get aggrivated. Does the ball disappear as well?

I did laugh the first time but now it's 3 for 3, and no the ball stays visible. I'm wondering if this is tied to using edited rosters or if its completely random.

Edit: It may be the rosters. I deleted PastaPadre's roster (which I had also edited before it began freezing) and now both teams show up on the field.

I'm definitely not downloading any rosters when I get the game then, not having the names isn't gonna kill me any way.

Online Dynasty freezes on 360..can't even advance a week.


It still says "And we are going to the 4th here in Fayetteville "..when we are in A-U-B-U-R-N. This was in 08 as well.


The other major bug is the complete castration of all things Defense.

Wow that's gonna suck for those X360 owners who want to do online dynasties. It seemed that in some areas EA did a great job (making the core gameplay fun for the most part) but have totally screwed the pooch on the most important stuff (such as defense overall)

I'm also a little disappointed to hear about that kickoff glitch with edited rosters.

i grabbed pasta's roster and have edited a few guys and not seen the freeze? not sure if editing a certain thing on a player makes a difference? i mainly edited helmets, facemasks and visors so who knows...
