this is a GREAT glitch to have happen late in the game....they miss the FG and get an extra chance to win it....... I also saw it happen where they MADE it and I had to kick off to them..... That is just lovely!!!!

Well not to revisit several of the glitches that have likely already been mentioned, but there are several things that I've noticed over the course of my games... (PS3)

Online:

Jet Pack interceptions. Ruins the online for me... Can't be bothered to play it any more. All they have to do is simply remove the "player catch" button for online play. They had done it before with the strafe, now do it with the catch!!!

Both:

Play clock loosing time between plays... You start with a full play clock and by the time you pick you play and players set up, you loose anywhere from 5-20 secs. I've had situations where I have more play clock then time left in the game only to have punt as a result of the play clocks running out.

Punt landing inside the the feild, yet being calles as touch backs. I've had balls that have gone out anywhere from the 5 and in and they've been called as touchbacks. And you can't contest them.

Contesting plays rarely works in your favor even if you can see it should. The both reviews all sorts of who cares plays with no result. When the computer pulls off those great plays that were the result of a glitch, only to keep the game close or to beat you, you can never review them as a stupid replay always takes place, taking away the ability to review the play.

As has always been the case with EA football games, the difficulty is not based on how good the computer plays, only how many times they'll glitch, cheat, or anything else that will take away the advantage for your team...

I HOPE that a patch is on it's way, though I doubt it very much as I haven't seen any yet as I don't think EA really give a damn. They've not released a patch for Battle Feild yet, it's glitchy as well, and still nothing here either...

Has anyone had a problem with their ballcarriers suddenly stopping. They kind of just stutter while running up field. This happens to me at least once a game, very annoying as it allows the D to walk my guy down.

I don't know if anyone has noticed this. But here is what happened to me two seasons in a row.

I recruited a RB. In the "position changes" section during the offseason he is listed as having an overall rating of 78. However, when i set my depth chart he is all of the sudden an 86. I'm in the season screen and decide to check out Player edit screen and he is once again a 78. I thought this was an aberation but the same thing happened in my last recruiting class.

Roster Edit, season ratings/Preseason ratings= 82
Depth Chart=91.

I have only checked this for my RB since he was my "key" 'recruit, but i highly doubt this is the only position that is affected by this ratings boost out of nowhere.

Oh, and i am getting tired of the breakaway gameplay. EA has turned this game into NBA Live where you hit a combo of controller keys and BAM you get by your man and score a TD.

Please tell me this is an isolated incident? I usually end up with 2-3 guys wanting to leave a year despite not being that good due to the discrepancy in tackles for CPU players.

I've had this happen, though only on plays like "QB Choice", and as a result of me not pulling the stick in the desired direction after the hand off. I've also had this happen if I accidentaly pull the right stick back... It makes a stuter stup kind of move which doesn't do any thing but slow you down...

I have on the other hand had a lot of problems with being able to quickly throw a pass off of the option pass. I press X to bring up the passing icons, then end up hitting the desired icon like 5-10 times, or until the computer apparently realises what I'm trying to do... Then WHAM! sacked for a loss...

Also, the AI in this game is pretty lame... This is due to how the computer cheats to stay competitive. It will always pick a play that will likely combat the offencive play you just picked. You can exploit this easily. Here's how: Wanna scored a ton of points? Here's what you do. Pick a spread offence (anything with 4 WRs will do as well) run play. The computer cheats and assumes that you're running so they load the box, beacuse it's loggical that on 1st and 10 you're going to run in a spread formation (I'm being sarcastic). Simply audible to a passing play in that formation and boom... Big play. Repeat as needed, no need to change the audible play you pick either, the computer won't have enough DBs and you'll walk all the way down the field... You don't even have to do a hurry up. They just never pick the right D because the computer knows you're running and doesn't want you win so it cheats, but then if you change stuff up, it gets screwed up...

I've also noticed this happen alot. I pick a play on D that would kill the offence, or I pick a play on O that would kill the D, only to have "the booth" review a play that doesn't matter. The result is that plays have to be picked up again, and low and behold, their stupid play calling doesn't happen again. I've had them review catches where the WR ran up field for five six yards. I've had them review the spot of the ball on run plays that have gone well beyond the line of scrimage...

Got a sack and the ball popped out of the QB's hands as he hit the ground, the ball was scooped for a TD. The play was reversed and the DE did not get credit for the sack, it showed in the stats that he had 1 rush for -9 yards. .

Screen Passes Broken

I don't know if you call this a glitch or not, but in regards to screen passes. Well Slip Screen is broken.

Whenever I call a slip screen, the RB runs RIGHT ALONGSIDE the defenders. He should be trying to separate himself and set up behind the blockers but he doesn't do that and so most screen passes get knocked down.

If you have a custom stadium sound for the "Defense on 4th Down" event, and the other team calls a fake punt or fake field goal, the sound plays, thus alerting you before the play that it is a fake. Kind of annoying.

holy crap! how random, i was just about to post this as it happened to me about an hour ago...oddly enough they tried a fake punt on 4th n 17...that deserves a wtf in itself !
