Oh man, really? We had a bug similar to this in Madden 08 where you edit a guy and he had steroid arms. Now we have both tiny arms and blow up arms in NCAA 09? Sheesh ...

are you freaking kidding me.......this has been a disappointing night. I was all pumped and this flood of bugs has really put me down. And its not comforting to know how long it takes EA to patch.

Wow, either my 360 sucks, I bought a bad disk or there are just some weird bugs that slipped by the testing phase. My latest issue: the game randomly scrolls through the formation subs while I try to call a play on both offense and defense meaning that on any given play I could have a backup QB,RB or SS in the game without me actually choosing to do so. Or my FB could be lined up at TB, etc, etc. Ive' played about 4-5 games and this is the first time that I've seen it.

I'm wondering if the disappearing player bug with Pasta's roster has anything to do with the origins of the file. I'm speculating that the naming was probably done by someone at EA via their roster db and then converted into the roster file and sent to Pasta, we also didn't hear Pasta complain about the roster edit freezing issue.

If this is the case, something about the way the roster file was originally made might be causing the problems. Maybe the way it was edited outside of the actual game makes it incompatible with certain types of editing once it has been brought into the game.

Hmm, don't flame me, but make sure the button that you would use to scroll through the formation subs isn't stuck. What I mean is, sometimes when I use instant replay, the camera will automatically move sideways or when choosing plays the plays will scroll automatically. It's because my analog stick gets stuck sometimes.

Yes this is true for Fairdale Kings and CD Jacobs. For me, DT Linder, this is not true because I understand the workaround. My rosters will work. I have the game and have been editing the rosters, so this is not just theoretical.

Pretty much agree with 100% of everything Russel said there...the guys who played the game at teh Community events in Orlando and in NYC said PLENTY of things that get overlooked now. Selective memory and baseless attacks are much more fun though...
