He said that any roster without the fiu bug before the patch would not get it after. Apparently now that's not true. Cdj says he's getting the fiu bug with my roster. OMT can you elaborate on this?

Every roster before hand has this bug, whether or not they got to the point of seeing it is the question. But after the patch, even if the roster looked fine beforehand, it wasnt/isnt. So if he named 116 teams and didnt see the FIU bug, its still there, just hasnt triggered. So by him naming the last 4 teams and doing edits, the bug comes out.

The only way to not have the bug is to start COMPLETELY over.

CDJ named 116 teams before the patch and then named the last 4 post patch on his and it worked. No reason why it shouldn't work on mine. Mine never showed the bug. And there is no way I'm starting over. I simply don't have the time.

I would ask OMT then, im 90% sure about what i said, but it wouldnt hurt to have the clarification. Not doubting you, just trying to help!!

To answer your question yes you can use your pc to download patches onto your ps3. This is what I did. I use Windows Vista so if you dont I`m not sure how you will.
1) If your computer has a built in lan network, go into system setup and enable it. Reboot
2) You will need to create a network in your network browser in windows. Make sure dial up connection is active.
3) If you still have the enternet cable that was provided with your ps3 at time of purchase, hook that up to your ps3 in the back, then hook up the other end of the cable to your pc were the lan port is out.
4) Turn PS3 on and go into your network settings. When asked for type of connection, press wired connection. Then do everything on automatic so you dont have to enter anything.
5) It took me couple of tryies but I was able to download patches for madden and ncaa.

I don't know anything about your roster. I need details first.

CDJ took the default rosters and named until it hit the threshold where the bug occured then stopped and waited for the patch to finish. So his should be just fine.

No, not every roster will have the bug. Just ones that went over 116 (I think) teams named or ones that been saved after accessing EA Locker.

That's exactly what mine is. No fiu bug at all because it didn't get the threshold and then all of a sudden it gets the bug AFTER the patch.

You didn't base it on someone elses roster? At no point in the creation process did you access EA Locker and then continue editing and then saved?

It was based on lanteri's roster and it never touched the locker. I only used the one that he posted in his thread and that one had no fiu bug. I don't even have online for my ps3 so it can't go in a locker at all.
