NCAA Football 09 Patch #1 Available

If it's this late at night chances are the patch won't be out tonight. I'm sure Sony would love to get the patch out but I doubt it's a huge priority for them, we've waited this long one more day shouldn't matter. Looking forward to the usa game as well by the way

this entire thing is rather enraging, the more i think about it, the more mad i get. I purchased the game the day it was released and have been waiting for weeks to get named rosters, and fix the ridiculous ratings on almost all teams, which in itself takes quite awhile, but then again its worth it when you have to play Ohio State or Georgia and basically every starter is rated over a 90.

I can't seem to get a straight answer, so I will ask here and will make it clear was possible. I already have a Dynasty going with Lan's rosters (116 teams) with no roster issues, so patch #1 is not a problem for me right now, unless I want to play online, play now, etc, so I just keep playing Dynasty to keep the rage down. My real concern right now is, my current Dynasty, when patch #2 EVER COMES OUT, will it fix the sliders, robo qb, dl pressure, etc in my Dynasty??? Or since I started my Dynasty prior to the patches being released, will it only patch up the play now, online, campus legend, and any New Dynasty I may start post-patch???

Based on last years patch, you shouldnt have to re-start your dynasty. You may need to adjust some settings, but last year with the NCAA patch, you did NOT have to re-start, it patched the current dynasty

I have had a completely different experience. The penalty system from my view is much improved. I've seen countless face mask, pass interference, and HOLDING calls on the user and CPU that I've never seen, and I'm only in my second season.

On a side note, has anyone heard an update on patch 1 for the ps3?

Sony f-ing sucks!! The patch was submitted WEEKS ago! 360 had their patch a WEEK ago. Sony is just sitting on their a** here. It's obvious they don't give a crap about their customers at all. A MONTH ago I buy this game and can barely even use it, and now Sony takes their sweet old time with the patch?

How long does it freaking take to certify a patch? Over two weeks??? You get the patch, you load the game, you load the patch, you run through the tests, and BAM, you release it. This is totally inexcusable!! Why do you have to get the Almighty Sony's permission to release a patch anyway? How about DLC like Madden's doing?

At this rate, they'll just take another 11 months to put out the patch, then they'll sell it to us as NCAA 10. What a rip-off.

Adam, I know this isn't your fault and I'm sorry you have to be at the receiving end of all the crap we see on this board, but the higher-ups at EA & Sony have really dropped the ball on this. We're angry and we have the right to be. First EA releases a game which they KNOW ahead of time is defective, then Sony takes forever to get the patch to us. The roster glitch was known about before release date and they released the game ANYWAY. That in and of itself is inexcusable.
