Yeah.. pretty much. Just like any feature, FCS schools is something we consider adding every year but has to be judged within budget and scope of the game. It hasn't fit into the plans for the last three years. If it was going to be done, I personally would be the designer assigned the task as it is my area of the game.

At the end of the day, we have a game to put out in July. So we can't do everything we want to. It is the same for create a school. We want both of these things, however every year there has been stuff we want more.

Me too. Just being able to create a playbook and pick from existing formations I loved. I used to create the most insane playbooks that would make any wide receiver run away if I tried to recruit him!

Adam, has anyone identified the defense formation bug? Its the same as last year where even when I select 3-4 defense in my coaching strategy, it still comes up 4-3 when I go to my game and I always have to change it. I think you guys list Bama as having a base 4-3 defense as well. I'm not sure if the cpu is just automatically making some teams 4-3 when they should be a 3-4.

The create a playbook was cool, and I miss the create a school. I was wondering about some of the things I was able to do on 08 (ps2) version, verses this years 09 on PS3.

1. QB avoidance
2. Direct a receiver, when the QB is scrambling
3. D-Line moves, like a power rush or swim move while jumping the snap to get around OL. (maybe this is something that will be fixed with Patch #2)???
4. Celebrations, while running into the endzone, I push O and do the same move every time, is that the way its supposed to be. Also the celebrations, the light ones or heavy ones you could do after a big play and/or touchdown. I remember you would push says R2 for square to perform a celebration. And you had different ones for the cheerleaders, players, mascot, fans.
5. Also with the fans, why no more close up of the fans, dancing, leaving the game during a blowout, throwing up signs.....

Cmon patch 2, get here soon. I tried to play the game this weekend, and it just wasnt fun. It has its moments, but its mainly in play now, any sort of sustained dynasty loses its fun for now. Im usually 5 seasons deep at this point, right now, im currently 3 games in.

Adam, do you get any notice from Sony or MS on how the patch is coming, or do they maintain radio silence.

If EA Sports had some competition I guarantee there wouldn't be near as many bugs. Since they have the only football game in town these days, college and pro, they have gotten careless and sloppy with their work and put out subpar versions knowing that consumers will buy it to get their football fix. They also use consumers as scapegoats by finding out from us what is wrong with the game and then they patch it instead of thoroughly testing it themselves. I've never been a fan of 2K football games and have been loyal to EA Sports football throughout the years, but I wish that 2K had a pro and college game to compete with EA Sports now to see if they would actually produce a quality game.

It would be nice if us PS3 guys could get the first patch. I can't believe this.
