Patch 1 and 2 Info

I decided to put this game up on eBay. Even with the things that are supposed to be fixed in the 2nd patch I can't see how this game is going to be as good as Madden this year. Oh well, at least EA got one of their football games right this year, kudos for that!

You aren't supposed to be playing it anyway. I thought you sold all of your next gen stuff and bought a Wii...........How's that Mario Kart working out?

Really, I would rather wait for the patch then get Madden. I didn't think Madden was that great and I saw some of the same problems that are in NCAA. DL/OL interaction is still shoddy, completion % are still way to high. LB's and DB'd that can't cover the WR.. Nah, keep Madden.. I already spent 60 for NCAA, I'll just wait for the 2nd patch and live with it. Gonna be waiting for a patch for Madden anyway..

I'd predict we'll see the patch either the last week of August or first week of September. I would say next week, but after seeing seemingly rediculous patch delays on multiple games, I'm not holding my breath on this one.

Haha, I'm actually on about my 4th hour of it today to be honest. I broke my jaw two days ago and am out of work, Madden only got about two hours of time today and Kart has been taking up most of the rest.

So wait, you don't even have the game but you "saw some of the same problems as NCAA". Interesting.

I haven't owned a Madden game since 2005. This year's Madden is VERY good game and it is light years beyond what NCAA is as far as game play. It saddens me to say that because I'd rather watch Akron and Kent State over the average NFL game but, facts are facts.

Yea Madden is better this year. I have to keep NCAA though because it is the only way to get my college football playing fix. I am starting to get impatient about patch #2 however. At least having working CPU sliders will help the game for me. It still won't be in Madden's league this year in my opinion. I would rather have a better college game myself, but oh well.
