Patch 1 and 2 Info

So after reading this entire thread, I still haven't located release estimates on patch 1...Maybe I missed it...Is patch 1 available yet? If not, when? I think they said around September for Patch 2...Correct?

It's great that you're looking into why the pass rush hasn't been addressed (I really think all it needs is tuning blocking to be a bit less effective, as similar blocking problems on kick and punt returns...see all the pancakes and super-blocking that happen on those plays). Also, if you have a chance, please see if the speed differential between players has been addressed. Some of these games are really fun with two evenly matched B to C level teams (I had a blast with a UCF v USF game), but human offenses are simply unstoppable with really fast teams (Florida, for example).

Also, on the PS3, the issue about the play clock needs to be fixed... You loose like 5-20 seconds everytime you choose a play... It even happens when you do a hurry up... Unreal... You're up big in the fourth with more time on the play clock then on the game clock. You choose a play and your play lock now has less time then the game clock!!!

To the guys that keep asking when the patches are going to come out 1) No one knows. 2) Estimations are in the first post of the thread 3) And the features of the gameplay patch are in the first post too so it's kind of pointless to say Does the patch have ______________ in it? If it's not in the first post chances are it's not there. If it is in the first post then it's in.

PS3 patches hit Tues-Thurs, they are never on Suns, Mons, Fri's or Sats. Its usually Weds or Thurs. Thats when the patches will be released. Now whether its this week or not is another story, the game is still unplayable and won't be until this freakin patch is released. If it wasn't for COD4 and MLB 08: The Show I'd be absolutely miserable, thank God for other great franchises. Last year at this time I was in utter horror with all the problems and suckage of NCAA 08 and was completely oblivious to complete donger suckage that was and is Madden 08. Fun times, fun times....
