But nah.. that wasn't what it is about. We brought in a new control/animation system this year, and also wanted to make the game different from Madden. Marketing took all those changes and named it "Wide Open Gameplay." It is a slogan. For you guys, we just changed missed tackle animations to include more arm tackles. The rest of the stuff is just tuning. We tuned the game play for months, but you can never release a perfect game. If we didn't release a game until we were 100% happy with the tuning, it would NEVER be released.
Yeah, making music is like that too.

OMT, I don't hand out compliments very easily. I just want to state for the record that you are doing a great job addressing issues with the community, and being responsive. Hope you had a good time tonight at the Madden party.

Again no two people will really ever agree with the tuning of the game. All most of us on here ask is that you give us the opportunity to tune the game for ourselves. Give us the ability to tune pursuit speed, missed tackle frequency, offensive line hold block, QB accuracy then we don't bitch at you (EA) we just bitch amongst ourselves about who has the perfect sliders.

Give us the tools!

I've never flamed you Adam.

I have stated 10000x times that there are some serious gameplay issues pre patch. Which is the truth.

But feel free to stare if you need to.

No pass rush fix...wonderful. An entire year of watching my D linemen get pancaked by 65 rated Guards from Akron.

Sure, I appreciate it.

As I said.. I don't know the details right now. It is... geez.... now I looked at my clock and saw it is an hour past my bedtime! Thanks! LOL... I'll find out on Monday. Then I hope to give a good answer. And I'm sure you guys won't let me forget.

I am very happy that you feel the same way. My concern is however that the issues that need to be patched - either, worked fine in previous versions, or have always been issues (which in hindsight were seen)....I know that this is probably more difficult than I know but..... if it (it being any prominent feature) worked well in versions a,b, and c..... why is it allowed to be broken or simply overlooked in version d?

After seeing the list of what will supposedly be fixed I firmly believe that this game can be amazing if it all works well.
Dont get me wrong as I am very glad that your company is stepping out and discussing the shots taken at you but in fairness -

it is because our hindsight is also 20/20 when recalling the disasters of the past and present, and all we can do is b***h about another $60 dropped on an unfinished product.

Don't know about the 360 version, but autosubs are working on the PS3 version.

Re: Patch 1 and 2 Info

The D-line issue is not as big of a concern as it once was for me. There was a post on here about how to get pressure on the QB, I followed it and one of my defensive ends has 13 sacks and one of my DTs has 5 and i am only half-way thru the season. The key is the jump the snap feature but you have ti control a d-lineman at all times to do that. I hope the 1s patch really fixes the depth chart re-setting issue, and it should from what i have read. Not being able to change height/weight in dynasty should be addressed next year because me DE that has 13 sacks has arms bigger than his thighs and just looks awful.

Re: Patch 1 and 2 Info

Looking forward to hearing A) why Pass rush wasnt touched and B) if in your opinion, the sliders will help it at all. Were the CPU sliders merely made so they work, or were the fixed so the degree to which they worked was greater?
