Comeback routes are almost impossible to stop unless the receiver drops the ball

in all the games i have play, the CPU has scored 1 time with that play, and i have only scored -12 times with it. most the time its an incomplete pass or a -5 to 8 yard gain/loss

EDIT: as i posted this Southern Miss ran it 3 times in a row. Sack, Sack, loss of 2 yards after RB got the ball.

I've never seen the CPU cover a HB Slide Screen out of the double HB shotgun formation... Good 7 yrds ATLEAST... just don't overuse it...

For me:

Up Drive- Ace Twin TE Slot

Twin WR's on one side Twin Te's on the other side. Outside WR runs streak route to stretch the defense. Inside WR runs a deep post pattern. On the other side the inside TE runs a drag route. The outside TE runs a 8 yard Dig route and the RB runs an out route to the TE side. Plenty of easy reads against man and zone.

Play against me:

5WR Trio- WR screen

I hate this play because it is literally close to undefendable you just have to hope they don't abuse it. It can't be stopped but you have to make the User Tackle 9 out of 10 times. Played a guy yesterday with Mizzou that ran this play with Macklin at least 10 times.

For me it's running the option. Sure there are a few times I've lost some yards, but I can rip off 70 to 80 yard runs at least once per game which led me to cut down on the number of times I run this.

truly the triple option or triple option counter, opens up the run. Although i feel cheesers who slide protect and roll out have the most unstoppable plays because they are so spastic the computer breaks down in coverage. To top it off you can't see cuz he is near the sideline and he throws it across the field to a guy who came out of god knows were cuz u cant see

Ok I went into practice mode and tried that. A few observations: The reason I have so much trouble passing in this game is that a WR is open but by the time the ball gets there he's triple-covered. Also the human QBs throws are very inaccurate. On slants if I throw it real quick it's behind the WR who doesn't even look for it. But once the LB gets back there there is no way to loft the ball over him. The passing in this game is 2-dimensional, which means technically that no one is ever open. I have had absolutely no success throwing deep balls - only underneath or medium if the receiver is WIDE OPEN. But even then my QB overthrows him.

CPU = robo-QB
User = Joey-Harrington-QB
