Online dynasty concern

yup.. i've put countless hours in trying to build a community around this game, supporting the efforts of the developers in there attempts to deliver us this gift of online dynasty's.. i understand there will be issues, but at this point Online Dynasty's are bordering on uplayable.

I'm still on board, i just hope they get OD playable sooner rather than later.

I am a 100% EA supporter and usually can understand/look the other way when things go wrong. And have been supporting them for years. (God all the 2k vs EA battles) And I always fought for the company who I belived made the better game. EA

But how can I (we the community) keep on doing what we do when you's are giving the haters ammunition like this? How can you push a feature that is broken from the get go?

OTM or IAN, honest question here : DO YOU TEST THE GAME BEFORE RELEASING IT?

If so how could some of the problems with this game made it into the game?

If so I would strongly recomend firing the current testing crew and hiring some of OS's best. Get someone who loves/worships the game to test it. Im pretty sure there is over a few handfuls of people here that could have told you's what was wrong with this game withing 1-2 days.

I will continue to support the company but C"Mon already. Play the game before releasing it atleast.

I too support EA..however i had the same problem as other on here two different times with the online dynasty while playing with friends. All of us would play our games and set as ready to advance. when the commish advanced to the next week games that were played by human vs cpu would end up simulated. in one case i was illinois and won 56-28 and after simulation it said i lost 35-10. the other time it happened to someone else where the actually lost 24-17 and it said they won 52-32. We KNOW each time everyone was set as ready to advance. However I am wondering if this problem could occur if 2 of the online dynasty users play on the same system and do not have there own as in they just log on as different users on the ps3 homescreen and advance from there.....PLEASE HELP EA! also let me know if any others have the same problem. this mode is unplayable when it does not keep the correct stats and scores

I just advanced past Week 1 in mine.

A guy beat USF with PSU 34-3.

When I advanced it, the score said USF 38-23.

WTF GIVES EA?

I just ran into a much bigger problem.

My brother and I have been just doing an experimental run through OD. After week 9 or 10 in the second season, I advanced the week without incident. When he went to load it, it showed him in week 3 of the previous season. Scores from the first two games different, all new and different recruits. We tried having him exit the game and come back in, but no joy, still week 3. I tried exiting the game and coming back in, and sure enough, I was greeted with week 3, season 1.

We just lost 26 weeks (with bowls) or so of regular season advancing, 3+ hours of the offseason process which we moved through as quickly as we could, and about 19 games played each.

Every time we load it up now, week 3, season 1, different scores and recruits.

I haven't read all 7 pages of this thread (yet), a little too outraged at the moment not to post first and read after. Has anyone else run into this? Is this not on the radar because everyone's waiting for rosters and hasn't really run Online Dynasty through its paces yet?

I mean, knowing that this could happen at any time destroys the promise of this game mode. I've looked past all the things EA couldn't be bothered to fix from last year, and I've focused on embracing the game as is, and was really enjoying Online Dynasty -- but this is over the top. I'll cut this post off here before I go into a full blown rant about EA's attitude and QA and get myself in trouble.

Here's hoping I find a post here or somewhere else where someone has a fix for this, or here's hoping EA knows about it and is going to fix it in the forthcoming patch. I mean, OD is dead if this turns out to be a widespread thing. Again, we both completed our weeks perfectly normally, we were both connected when it happened, neither game had been sitting idle at all (that's a real problem with Online Dynasty, by the way, never let the game sit unattended for more than a few minutes unless you're prepared to lose your game and/or recruiting results for the week), the downloads and processing went off without a hitch. Then bang, lost a season.

So frustrated.

Yep the OS gridiron greats dynasty messed up when we advanced to week two all scores were wrong except mine the commish and one others. It even had Michigan losing to Utah on the play week place but them winning on the dynasty headquarters page when they won 72-0 this will ruin the game for me.

have a 10 team dynasty..we were in week 2 everything was going fine..now i boot it up and it tells me files are missing and wont load..then i try again and it loads but it has erased the 2 weeks we played and has us all back at preseason again

Look 2 posts up. I lost 1 3/4 seasons that way. I wasn't told files are missing, but everything was rolled back after a normal week advancement.

I am the commish of a dynasty and we were about to play the national championship game. In a 8 team league. Well i was still on the real screen and someone told me that there dynasty had started over and sure enough it went back to the pre season for the 2008 year and we had to start the year over? what can i do to prevent this? and can i not get it back to where it was?
