Yup. The DB's actually bat balls down now and I've seen the safeties start making solid plays on the deep ball. Oh, and the CPU has gone "deep" a couple of times now. That was a shocking surprise.

Had the game shipped out of the box with the settings as the ones posted I wouldn't have pulled out as many hairs. Ha...

I wonder if this could possibly be accelerated into the upcoming patch. Even if you didn't fix the game's AI until the 2nd patch, at least this would give us a chance to use sliders to make up for the AI until then. And even if we have to wait another week for the roster patch it might be worth it.

Can't. The patch is already in with MS and Sony and now it's just a waiting game on them.

I can't go through this entire thread but does anyone know if setting the DEF awareness to 5 will make them more aggressive? I had the defensive awareness set to 100 when I ran this play.

After that I was pretty pissed (despite the fact that my QB scored). And then I remembered this thread and set their awareness to 5 and they started playing me really tough at the LOS and down the field.

I believe that I am just simply too good for any slider set on any level against CPU.

I played at Michigan with Ohio State and I won 47-0. If this was All American, it would have been close to 100 points. I used Kent State and beat Boston College, 84-12.

A friggin' shutout on Heisman with this slider set?

That is without exposing the short passing game. I ran for 204 yards with Chris Wells and 102 yards with Terrelle Pryor.

We'll have to wait until the patch to see if it makes the computer any smarter.

I'll just play my dynasty games against my roommate who can play significantly smarter than CPU A.I. It's completely useless.

What I can't understand is why the EA guys who frequent this board can't simply say "ok fellas these are the ones that are switched and/or not working" then we could easily adjust the game for now and buy some time until the patch fixes it.

I really thought by now they'd at least give us a work around until everything is re-asligned.

Also important to note that the game doesn't seem to count a good majority of the sacks if the QB is far out of the pocket. Just counts it as a tackle. This could be why we see so few sacks in the game.
