I do understand, though, if there's some kind of standard sideline size that has to be used in the game. I wouldn't expect you to make an exception for just one school if it's too complex/space-consuming.

Not sure why the stands are filled with gold. I've only seen that for one special occasion. It's usually pretty mixed, but not too important to me.

The student section moved with the renovations a couple years back. I normally wouldn't care too much but one of the tidbits/trivia that displays when you do a Play Now game with the Hawks talks about Kinnick Stadium and the student section, "which can normally be heard in the northwest corner." Since the renovations, the student section has occupied the southwest corner (the west half of the south endzone and the first couple "blocks" of the west stands on the south side).

Count me as another that would like to see all the stadia in the game.
Yes, the field is a seperate piece of art and it has to be the same size for every stadium to be rendered correctly.

Actually that is a commentary bug but I have already fixed it for 2010.

Yup, I've been at every home game failing sickness since 2005, and I've played exclusively as Fresno State in NCAA. I noticed it while playing against Wisconsin. If I could take pictures in game, I would totally do it.

Modeling is 160 hours

Bug Fixing (IF QA finds all the bugs in one pass) 4 hours
Hold up a sec...

So...you're skipping the missing stadiums because it's too much work? Too time-consuming? So, screw the smaller schools?

What the fish?! Are you bloody kidding? Even if my school weren't one of the neglected schools (which it is) the football fan in me would prefer you got the stadiums in the game before worrying about t-shirt colors or fan sections. And then, once you've managed the stadiums, rather than moving on to renovations, get the AA teams back in the game.

Literally SHOCKED at this answer/excuse-making...

Arkansas – Remove bleachers from the endzone with the building
That's not all.

Similar bleachers are now up high on top of the other endzone.
And that building is renovated with glass, shopping center-like windows... not the garage doors that are there currently.

Also, there may be some sort of hog at mid-field this year as well. If the stadium is updated for next year's game, don't miss out on that.

Carolina is going to start expansion after this coming season. Pictures begin on page 21 of this power point
www.unc.edu/depts/trustees/Mar...n%20Reviews.pdf

phase 1 will be the part completed before the 2009 season. More pictures will be put out closer to the start of the project I would assume

Stadiums added to NCAA 09:

BCS
  1. Duke
  2. Northwestern
  3. Stanford
  4. Washington State
Non-BCS
  1. Idaho
  2. LA Tech
  3. Navy
  4. UCF
  5. WMU
So much for that theory. Maybe it's just a case of "screw the MAC"?

I think you missed the point. Adam was trying to give us a sense of just how incredibly labor intensive adding new stadiums is. I remember reading an interview a couple years back with one of the NCAA 07 developers. In it he stated that the NG stadiums have approximately 10 times as many polygons as the LG versions.

I would be willing to bet that the amount of man hours necessary to address all of the update requests in this thread will be significantly less than the approx. 350 hrs required to create a single new stadium from scratch.

Re: Stadium Updates

As a Chippewa, I am extremely pissed that you guys didn't even add the 2 time defending MAC champions.

It there a logical explanation why other schools have been added but not CMU??

I am glad that you think that this if funny, when a bunch of no name schools have their stadium in the game, and you can spend all those hours on their stadium. But none on CMU and Ohio's. It is in the last gen games and I couldn't understand after the first time they won the MAC you guys would think to get Kelly-Short in the game. You guys put Western in the game. How come no love for the Chips and the Bobcats.

Its not like these are very difficult stadiums. They are pretty much glorified high school stadiums. It is stupid when I have to play in a big bowl stadium that looks like it fits 80,000 people when CMU only plays in a stadium with around 18,000 and is just a basic two stand stadium with a student section!!
