As far as I know SMU's stadium is in.

Re: Stadium Updates

The pink section in this picture of Fresno State's stadium (Bulldog Stadium!) is the away section (always full of the other team's fans and their colors) which is accurately represented in NCAA 09.

However, the blue section selected on that picture is where our new video board is, and that isn't represented at all in NCAA 09. It's been there since the 2006 season. There are also no soccer goals on the field during the football season, but for the last few years there have been soccer goals on the field in NCAA. Also below the blue selected section are rows of bleacher style concrete seats rather than stairs.

The darker section that is selected (across the field from the other two) is the student section, often the loudest (and most red) of any other section in the crowd.

Thanks, I was playing last night but it just looked like a generic and the camera never paned to the doak walker statue.

Re: Stadium Updates

Actually, the size of Iowa's sidelines are a big deal, because that's a major part of our home field advantage.

I do understand, though, if there's some kind of standard sideline size that has to be used in the game. I wouldn't expect you to make an exception for just one school if it's too complex/space-consuming.

Not sure why the stands are filled with gold. I've only seen that for one special occasion. It's usually pretty mixed, but not too important to me.

The student section moved with the renovations a couple years back. I normally wouldn't care too much but one of the tidbits/trivia that displays when you do a Play Now game with the Hawks talks about Kinnick Stadium and the student section, "which can normally be heard in the northwest corner." Since the renovations, the student section has occupied the southwest corner (the west half of the south endzone and the first couple "blocks" of the west stands on the south side).

Count me as another that would like to see all the stadia in the game.

Re: Stadium Updates

The announcer keeps sayin that Auburn's home stadium is located in Fayetteville. He says "live from Fayetteville" or something of that nature. They also said it in ncaa 08. I'm pretty sure it's in Auburn, AL.

Re: Stadium Updates

OMT,

Georgia's Sanford Stadium uses yard marker numbers on the field in the same font/style as you have LSU's Tiger Stadium using. The only difference being there are no "5," "15," 25," "35," etc. Also, instead of a purple drop-shadow, Georgia uses red, like what you've currently got in there.

Also, the red sidelines do not run-on forever; it's white in the middle starting at the 25 yard lines.

An example of both is here: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi.../102_5312a.jpg

Also in picture one you can see the American Flag ribbon located around the 25 yard line on each end.

ONE more thing. Bowl game stadiums should have Team Specific Endzones - Endzones painted in their team colors, instead of the generic Grass with a bowl logo. You guys have seemed to get it right with the Georgia/Florida game - but why not bowl games. Example:
Sure we got it right on Florida-Georgia cause we know what teams are playing. We don't know this with bowls. Bowl endzones requires a tech solution instead of it being an art task. We will most likely have it in 2010 and are right now integrating the new tech for it.

As far as Clemson... they told me this: "We no longer have a white background in ednzones; just grass with words Clemson like you have" (spelling is theirs ). And all the reference photos from this season I got look like this, so I think we are correct with our Clemson field.

Re: Stadium Updates

Would it be possible to add a different look to the fans in the cadet sections at the Air Force Academy? The PS2 versions had a different look and had cadet cutscenes as well.

-There is talks of renovating the closest endzone here, pictured with the grass hill and tree. In real life, and probably for the next 3 years, fans are allowed to sit on the sides of the hill near that endzone area. Adding in a few dozen fans on those grass hills in the corner of the closest endzone would bring this stadium up to snuff.

also, the UNM lobos MR or PR guy sent some updated UNM field photos to yall, can you confirm this. His name is Alfredo Moreno. It may be easier for me to get the photos from him and post them here.

Thanks again for reaching out
No, I never got any new photos of the field.

Our reference has the sidelines just like the screenshot. Did it change?
