Re: Stadium Updates

so yeah, those extra two jumbotrons for nc state are NOT in the game...

also take out that sign in the endzone that reads "trust, wolfpack, etc" whatever it says...that was a chuck amato thing...tom o'brien is now the coach and that is gone.

Re: Stadium Updates

Just something really small here and not a very big deal but Iowa has one of the most tightly packed stadiums in the country meaning the stands are extremely close to the field, In the game the stands are too far away from the sidelines, but no big deal.

OMT,

Purdue

The crowd, and more specifically the the student section wears black. In the game, gold is the dominate color, but it would be nice to see this change to make it feel more like home!

That's actually really cool. I never noticed that.

I really just assumed all the stadiums would be in this year as that seemed to be the implication when some were left out last year. Won't make that mistake again.
Great point! I'd like to be able to complain that my teams student section is the wrong color. Kind of pisses me off that they had my team correct back in NCAA Football '98, but don't take the time to do it today. Looks like this game has MUCH more severe issues than stadiums anyway!

Re: Stadium Updates

Memorial Stadium - University of Illinois

East Side - no change

North Side - new student section, band in the lower rows, scoreboard removed

South Side - scoreboard is now behind stands (stands remain the same)

West Side - massive changes, new tri-level suites/press area above balcony; new club area under balcony (this will be ready in 2008)

In regards to the bowl stadiums which maybe in your point about generic stadiums. ANYTHING dome related will be better than playing outside in the AlamoDome
For real man, wtf is up with the AlamoDome being outdoors? It's an indoor stadium.

Re: Stadium Updates

Did you guys leave SMU Stadium out of the game? Last year the camera would pan over the Doak Walker Statue and the stadium was close to the real thing. I played a game last night and it didn't look the same. I really hope you guys did not leave it out because last year it was in the game.

Re: Stadium Updates

Washington State is in the middle of a major renovation, so I'm sure you would rather wait. The whole non scoreboard side is already different, and the scoreboard is being replaced right now. You can find pictures here:

And they are also adding another deck to the student side that will include new suites and press boxes. They are only in fund raising stage for this so I'm sure we are a ways away from actually seeing anything. There are some artist renderings here....
