Also F.Y.I. - Kansas is getting a new press box on the East side of the stadium & will be done by the start of next season (2010-2011)

To quote what a NCAA Dev told me, unless the school is USC, ND, Texas, etc we aren't going to do the stadium updates right away.

We are aware of what is a generic stadium, but if you know of renovations that have happened in real life to that stadium in the last few years, let me know.

Here is what I have so far. Can I get this sticky?

Stadium updates
Illinois – Major renovations
NC State - Remove hedges along the walls; match the wall color to the dark grey used on north and south endzone walls; add stone tunnel entrance at the main tunnel
Cal – Remove 4 tarps around the stadium and put fans there.
Oregon State – Renovations around the stadium
Texas – North endzone is under construction. Will be completed in August.
West Virginia – Changes to the seating in endzone with building
Remove upper deck from east stands
UL Monroe – Add tarps with logos to the east side corners
Rutgers – Bowling in the endzone.
Oklahoma - new video board.
FSU – Large video board and LED ribbon wrap
Wake Forest – New pressbox
Tennessee – LED strip along the upper faηade. Tarp over the endzone tunnel with the T logo and UTSports.com below. Remove hedges along the edgewalls. Brick wall somewhere? Tunnel in the opposite endzone.
Ole Miss – Add tunnel in the corner of the closed endzone under the student section with statue just outside it. New HD video board
Mississippi – Adding new HD board
Kansas – Adding big video board
Purdue – Update edgewalls
Boise State – New pressbox
Louisville – Big video board
Arkansas – Remove bleachers from the endzone with the building
Southern Miss – Endzone being enclosed with suites, expected to be complete August 2008
Ball State – Total renovation of stadium
Houston – New video board
Northern Illinois – Added Yordon center.
California – Add fans to Tightwad Hill
Texas Tech – Renovations put on hold.
Kansas – Renovations to be complete after 2008 football season.

Field Updates
Utah – Remove soccer marks. The soccer team doesn’t play there anymore.
UL Lafayette – Switching to turf. Looks like some new logos too. Need reference
Virginia Tech – Add VT midfield logo
Washington State has a new scoreboard, plus a completely renovated endzone section along the enclosed, Stadium way side of the stadium.

Re: Stadium Updates

Akron got a new stadium this year: Infovision Stadium at Summa Field. In 10, I believe they're still at the Rubber Bowl.

Just looking out for all the Zip fans out there.

Re: Stadium Updates

Kansas Jayhawks: Memorial Stadium will have quite a bit to update.

As mentioned above there will be a small 2nd deck/skybox suites along the east side of the stadium. This site can reference what this will look like: http://www.kuathletics.com/ot/gridiron-club-main.html
and
from the outside: http://grfx.cstv.com/schools/kan/gra...n-pic3-475.jpg

Also, a new football only complex was built last year near the southwest corner of the stadium, and 2 practice fields built towards the southeast corner of the stadium.

Here is a picture looking to the northwest. In view is the 2 practice fields, football facility, and memorial stadium.

Close up of the football complex: http://grfx.cstv.com/schools/kan/gra...derson-550.jpg

New turf was laid over the summer, and now the endzones are blue, with red lettering (white outline). The north endzone says KANSAS, the south endzone says JAYHAWKS.

At midfield is a larger Jayhawk logo than there was before, please notice the trajan font of the KU.

Re: Stadium Updates

The Virginia Cavaliers have a new video board as well that's about three times the size of their previous one. Unfortunately I can't find a picture at the moment.

EDIT: Found one! The center portion is the main video screen, and the upper-left and upper-right boards display stats and ads. Now everyone in the stadium can see exactly how bad the Wahoos are.

And that attitude is reflected in the lack luster products they churn out every year.
