wow that suction blocking this was horrible. The d-linemen BROKE the o-linemens block but then turns around back into the o-linemen. Wow

Where can we get the patch? Also, has anyone noticed that the players tend to stumble a lot? Is it something that you do to make him stumble or does it just randomly happen?

Im enjoying these videos, they show what we all know, but are constructive in highlighting some deficiencies in the game. Good work rhombic. Hopefully this stuff gets taken into consideration for the patch (which we havent heard anything about in awhile).

Speaking of patches, has anyone heard anything new as to the delay in getting the "roster freeze" fix out to us? There was talk it was to be released at the end of LAST week, and now were a few days past that.

I didn't make this video, but it obviously highlights several issues with pursuit. More importantly, it pretty demonstratively demonstrates that the game has disabled mid-play fatigue, which was a big feature last year:

You might not think that's a big deal, but play against WVU sometime when Pat White runs around the backfield for 30 seconds and then eventually throws it way downfield or takes off down the sidelines.

Bad play by the DB. He could've and should've been able to pick that one off! The game blows is the bottom line! LOL

Re: NCAA 09 Gameplay Issues (response from EA)

Not sure if this belongs here, but it is, or should I say was, a gameplay issue when it occured. It was online during a dynasty game so here goes...Not sure if this one was posted yet, but I had 2 glitches occur today while playing my online dynasty game vs the cpu (Illinois). I'm on their 2 yard line with 0:09 left in the game after I called my 1st time out. I hit the ask corso button in hopes that he'd pick a good play right quick without me having to find one. Instead, it brings up the FG unit. Before I could even back out of it and select a running play, the cpu calls time out to "ice the kicker". Strange considering it's supposed to be done before the snap, not while you're in the huddle. Anyway, I run my play and get stopped right before the goal line. So now there's about 0:06 left on the game clock when I get tackled and I let it run down to 0:03 before I hit the select button to call for a time out. Only no TO was called after I began mashing on the button until the game clock naturally runs out. *pissed* Now I gotta play in OT when I was all ready to kick the GW field goal. (FF to OT) I hold Illinois to a FG and I move my team down to the 10 where I hit my WR out in the flat on the next play (1st down) and he runs it in for a TD. Final score Mich 26 Illinois 20. NO!!!!! Final score is Mich 23 Illinois 20. WTF happened to my other 3 points? I didn't kick a f*****g FG! Booooooooooooooooo!!!!!! This after mysteriously getting booted out of 2 dynasties after setting them to ready to advance. WTF????

If you held Illinois to a FG and then you scored a TD, you'd win by 3 points, so that seems correct.

Re: NCAA 09 Gameplay Issues (response from EA)

I've read what i'm about to say in this thread. but everyone just says it. but no one that i've seen made it completed clear and also made sure that it was a MAJOR issue.

We all know the O-line vs Dline is MAJOR. thats not the #1 problem.

thats 1B.

Thee #1 issue is the fact that darn near any qb can run to either side(when you're playing a human, especially). and no matter the pressure you have on said QB(You could have hit the guy while he was throwing it, you could've jumped with your hands up so even if he did get it off it should've been a poor pass 80% of the time.

^^This my friends is the worse of them all. we use to complain about the drop back 15 yards and no accuracy drop. sure madden has the accuracy drop and the icons drop. i get it, madden owns the icon drop thing. that will not be in ncaa. fine. but the accuracy drop must be there when:
A. QB Runs as fast as possible in any direction and never plants before he throws. (accuracy should drop from 10 to 20%)

B. QB runs and doesn't full turn around before he hits the pass button (accuracy should drop between 20-40%). You're virtually throwing with your back to the receiver. odds are it wont work in real life

C.If a player HIts the QB, or Jumps up in front of the QB. Qb's accuracy should drop from 15% to 30%. yes that drastic.

^^once they fix this. then fix the DLine vs the online nonsense. The game itself will be 70% more realistic. then all the other glitches mentioned being fixed will make this game 85 to 95% more realistic. but still fun to play for those who are not football heads.

I've noticed something. if you play football by nature you wont recognize the above QB accuracy glitches. because you dont run around like a video game qb. you stay in the pocket. so most of your passes are passes made with no hands all in your face, or no one hitting you, or you're not running and throwing in one motion. The moment you go online and you play people who just want to win at all cost. you see how bad this QB accuracy glitch really is. and its not just Exploit abusers doing it. the regular guy like myself start doing it not really noticing that i was doing it. because you usually follow success. if it works twice, try it again. until you realize. "this guy can't do anything to stop me no matter what play he calls/no matter what blitz he calls. no matter which man he controlls. its either a perfect strike or i run for 8 yards minimum.

and believe me, if they fix the Dline vs oline blocking stuff. but not this QB accuracy stuff. the game will still be arcade all the way. not even close to sim. not in the sligthest. because your Dline men still can't keep up with a qb running backwards and side ways full speed and throwing strikes with their backs or sides to the WR thats 30 yards down field. you will just get to have more pressure on the qb just for the heck of it. it wont bother the qb though. and thats the entire point of more pressure. thats why QB accuracy glitch is PRIORITY #1.
