I just played a half of Auburn (Me) vs Utah State...the WORST TEAM IN THE GAME.

Keep in mind, this is on All American sliders with CPU Pass block at ZERO and QB Accuracy at 25 . Human Break Block is at 100 and Defensive Awareness is at 100 .

First off...here is an example of a typical blitz in NCAA 2009. No matter who you are playing against, no matter how good your Defensive front is....this is pretty typical.

Some fun tidbits for ya....

Utah State O line ratings....73, 72, 70, 74, 75.

My Auburn Defensive Front ....87, 82, 95, 90 with 2 Blitzing LBs of a 90 and 92 overall.

Utah State is going to pick up the stunting DT and LB PERFECTLY and pancake or "knock down" 4 defenders on the blitz. The others are stonewalled. With everyone blitzing, the Super Robo QB finds his receiver and gains a first down.

This happened just about everytime I blitzed.....with Auburn.....against Utah State...... ....against Utah Freaking State.

Here is another example. Check out Raven Gray, #42, my Defensive End. He is going to do a nice spin move off of the tackle, leaving a clear path to the QB. But does he spin off the tackle and attack the Quarterback?

Nope...instead he decides to run STRAIGHT ACROSS THE LINE OF SCRIMMAGE and engage ANOTHER lineman. Of course, the QB, having all day to throw yet again, finds his receiver for a gain.

Again, Utah Freaking State, against Auburn, one of the better defenses in College Football over the last several years.

And now, for the grand finale, the "piece de resistance" if you will. The ultimate "highlight".

Here is Utah State's All Pro QB, who is a 72 by the way....doing what CPU QBs do best in NCAA 2009. Throwing Touchdowns and making plays. It's all about "Wide Open Gameplay". He was 16-20 with 2 TDs at halftime.

Let me repeat.... CPU QB Accuracy was at 25 . HUM Defensive Awareness and Break Block were at 100 with Knockdowns at 65 .

....I need a drink.

That was a fantastic rant...

Something I'd really like to see get fixed is linemen doing stupid things like turn around and run backwards 3 yards at the snap. I see way too much of this.

CPU Nebraska is running a simple hand off, seems like it was designed to be run to the left, maybe not a sweep, but definitely to the left as I think all of the shot gun handoffs are designed to go across the qb.

The LT, C, and RT stand up, turn around, and run backwards 3 yards. I can somewhat understand the RT doing this to go after the DE rushing wide, but the other 2 turning around is ridiculous.

If they have no one to block on the 1st level, hold your ground or move to the 2nd level, do not turn around and get in the RBs way. If those 2 had actually blocked down field the play could have gained yards, but I held it to no gain.

That is pretty dumb, there is no reason for two offensive linemen to be hovering around the ball (with their back turned to the defense!) like that.

Specially frustrating to see because the RB actually rubs off the C in that play and has to avoid him. I can just imagine the conversation on the sideline between RB and center on that one. It's enough that I have to avoid the defense, but I don't need your wide load in the backfield making it any harder.

I see lots of confused linemen like that looking in odd places to find someone to block.

that last video with utah state that pass the quarterback threw kills me every time its like he sees the play without even looking in that direction, then jumps back and thows a perfect ball. Please EA i hope the patch can fix that if not for next year.

Don't know if the running game has been mentioned, but I think it's one of the main aspects of the game that needs fixing. There's no room to run at all, and breaking big runs is nearly impossible.

Some of the problems in the running game include: holes close up way too fast, no push from the O-Line, tackles rarely broken, and pursuit is ridiculous when trying to bounce outside.

A patch that can make the run game more effective and appealing would be awesome.

I actually think the run game is one of the games better points once you get used to the change in approach...feels pretty solid, IMO.

Running game is fine. If you're not moving the ball then you're simply not a good runner. Nothing wrong with that, but there are plenty of guys that can run and do it consistently.
